How do you define success and how do you measure up to your own definition?

In my opinion, sometimes failure becomes the Seed of success.

For example, I have set a goal, to reach the goal I give my all hard work, determination, and defecation, but somehow I can't reach success. This is a failure. So we have to investigate the cause of failure and solve the cause of failure. It's like rocket science. When scientists send rockets into space, sometimes the rocket can't reach its destination.

So, scientists investigate the cause of the failure of the rocket and solve the problem then try again and they get their success. If we want to be successful in life, career, play, competition, or anything then we should follow rocket science.

Defining success is subjective. Everyone has their own definition. To me success is a journey from A2B from Where you Are to where you want to Be. Success is journey which keeps moving based on which phase of life you are in.

For example:

Success for a baby might be walking without any support.

Success for a school kid may be securing 100 marks in his / her favorite / all subjects.

Success for a college student may be completing his/her degree without arrears and getting placed in a good company.

For a professional hitting their business targets.

For a retired professional having a healthy and peaceful life.

Success is accomplishment of a aim or a purpose. Success denotes the GOAL which you have choose to achieve it. If we do hard work and being focused towards our goal than we can achieve our goal.

Example.

Success for a baby might be walk without any support.

Success for a student that complete the degree with good marks and getting placed in good company.

For a professional hitting their business target.

So success at every level may be different but the way to achieve it is always same.

"Being focused and hard work is the key of success".

The rewards of success are the wealth (accomplishments). Successful people are everyday people with everyday IQ who were raised in everyday environment, went to everyday schools and made everyday grades. Successful people are not the smartest, the most intelligence, the strongest, the biggest or the fastest. The distinguishes successful people from others is that they have learned the secrets of success and have put them into practice consistently and religiously for several years. Success is, therefore, a matter of choice and not an accident.

My dad says that success depends upon three things, the 3Ds- dedication, determination and discipline. With proper dedication and focus if one can prepare a strategy which will bring immense gain and good will to the company, it will be of great deal. The magic of determination lies when someone doesn't give when failure hit hard. If he or she remains determined that the coming days will be better, then just an tinge of classic discipline will definitely eradicate all the odds. That's how I am gonna define success and measure it.

Sir/Mam,

I believe that success is defined by how far we’ve progressed on our path to realizing our potential to achieve great things—something I believe every human is capable of. To me, success can only be measured by the honesty and dedication a person brings to their journey toward greatness. I am confident that I have given my best effort and remained true to myself along the way, even though the journey has not always been smooth. I hope to continue this approach and live a truly meaningful life.

Success is giving it everything you have and doing your best, and having satisfaction at the end of the day that you have done that. How you respond to failure is also a measure of success. Being willing to take a risk, learn from the result, and being wise enough to correct your path shows character. As to how I measure up to that, I face each day with a positive attitude and I do my best to do it better today than I did it yesterday. Continual learning and improvement are daily objectives.

Success is nothing but a new chapter after failure, but that chapter takes time.

Success is measured not only when you earn a good amount of profit but your image in the society so I your image is good in society you are a successful person and if not I think you are not that successful.

Most people admire Sir Ratan Tata as a good human being, and on the other hand most of people Admire Mukesh Ambani as just a business name that's the image of a person in a public.

Many people of the world think that earning a lot of money is success and in my view, it's not success. I will give you an example. If we talk about Asaram Bapu and if we talk about Mahatma Gandhi. Asaram Bapu is the richest man but we take his name for bad people. And about a great soul Mahatma Gandhi he was not the richest person but he is in heart of India and he will be in heart of India as a great soul forever. It's real success.

Success for me is doing whatever it takes to reach your goal no matter what obstacle you have in front of you, you must endure to the end, and if you believe that person telling you you can't do it! You already failed! the only obstacle that you have to overcome is yourself! If you believe in yourself and you endure to the end you will succeed in all that you do believe in yourself!
