With population over a billion people, Republic India is the worlds largest Democracy. And for all obvious reasons it is a cumbersome task to govern a Country like India. India, the packet of Diversified cultures, ethnicities, languages and mindsets has always been a mysterious country when it comes to its integrity. It has been 56 years that India was declared a free country. Since then the country is undergoing major changes in terms of Social, Economical, Political and Technological aspects. But, there is one key function of that drives the remaining three. That is nothing but The Political system of India.

Indian Politics have been interesting since its inception. Some people often say " Many things have changed, but Politics in India have been the same". Is it really so ? We need to think about this. Governments change over a period of time, Power slips from one political party to another. But the so called properties of the political system have often seemed to be the same. The parties which we have are nothing but a set of aged intellectuals that were distributed among different groups following their own doctrines.

The majority of Indian population is under the age of 35, but its politicians are largely a gerontocracy. The political parties are filled with aged, old men and women who often look like members of exclusive pensioners' club. The question that now arises is that "Is this generational rift between the citizens and the political setup desirable?".

No, definitely NO. This setup has resulted in a system that is very redundant in its decision making. Now the scenario has changed drastically. The prevailing problems of the country are continuously hampering the growth of the country. In the dark mist of never ending poverty, illiteracy and many other disadvantages there is a need of a new Dawn.

A dawn that brings prosperity, that brings hope, that brings a new beginning, and that brings a new system altogether. Our political system certainly requires Re-structuring in order take the country forward with the pace that can match with the other developing countries.

Given the kind of electoral make-up India has, the dearth of young politicians on the front benches is purely implausible. They are patronized, suspected, demoted to the background and constrained by an environment that encourages an uncritical reverence. The kernels of pessimism are thus slowly sown in them.

In recent past, we have seen that the emergence of youth into politics have brought in a new spirit of enthusiasm and confidence among people. The skepticism that leaders are born is no more valid these days. As we know that 'leaders need not do different things, it would be sufficient if they can do things differently'. And this is what we need now. We need young fresh minds to come into politics who strive to make the country better.

Till now, we have only seen most of the young leaders especially of high profile have taken up the inheritance of their predecessors and joined the politics. But then there is one thing in common of the young leaders today, they influence the youth of the country. Their personality influences people who often look up to them as role models. It is not so long that Rahul Gandhi stepped in to politics, but we have seen a fresh wave of thoughts which have come along with him. Same is the case with Jyotiraditya Scindia and Omar Abdulah. They have been crucial for the parties they work for. And consequently, we see more and more youth joining into politics which is a good sign.

The people of the nation also seek some new leadership which they can trust upon. The time has come for the youth to step forward and take up the responsibility from the octogenarian politicians. Now that we know, that the impact of young leaders on the growth of a Country is crucial it is not to be ignored that there has to be right balance between the experienced and youth. Hence increasing number of young politicians is certainly a new dawn.

Hi Everyone,

Take care, be safe and serve the country by getting vaccinated.

I'm Akansha, putting my opinions on such a huge topic that needs attention. Please add-on something if you've important to say to put light on.

When we say youth in politics then my opinion is a big 'Yes. ' Having said that, I believe that literate youth who has understanding towards the geographical, historical, new agricultural, architectural view and ideas to their unit, ward, constituencies, state, country should come forward to develop their country. Any, youth who just step into politics won't create any impact to society in any possible way. Power brings responsibilities but led people to do wrong things. A person/youth must be educated with good moral values.

In general, when I open any news channel with people representing different parties, I noticed that nobody listens to anyone and it becomes fuss on a National TV channel. Every person must be heard because each person is incredible in their unique ways. Either it's a youth or an experienced one people should have respect to the other's opinion. Politicians should be trusted by the public. So, my understanding is that when youth comes to politics they must respect their seniors even if the views are from the opposition parties as well.

Youth can play an integral role in politics but yes their mindset should be to serve the country.

Nowadays almost every person has access to everything and people can choose their paths so. We should encourage literate young people to take politics as their career path to serve the country as like engineers, doctors, and many more.

Being a politician, it's a huge responsibility as people have hopes from the politicians that things can be changed by their intellectual ways with the thoughts and power of their speech. Youth in politics should have a meaningful way to serve the country in the means of welfare and development to the coming generation.

Youth must be encouraged to be politics but their ability should be measured by the experienced one and given a right path to serve the country because they can give a better idea and youth can carry out it to make India a developed country.

Thanks all.
Sincerely,

Akansha.

"Good morning, everyone.

I appreciate the opportunity to discuss the crucial topic of youth in politics. The involvement of young individuals in the political landscape is not just beneficial but vital for the future progression of our nation. Let me elaborate on some positive aspects and solutions that promote their involvement:

1. Innovation and Adaptability: Youth bring fresh perspectives, and innovative ideas, and are often more adaptable to change. By actively engaging the younger generation in politics, we can ensure that policies are forward-looking and reflect the aspirations of future generations.

2. Harnessing Technology: Today's youth are digital natives. They can efficiently use technology to streamline political processes, from campaigning to policymaking. Their adeptness with social media can also enhance communication with constituents and raise awareness about pressing issues.

3. Solution: Political Education*: Introducing political studies as a part of the school curriculum can be a potential solution. It will make the youth more aware of the nation's governance, their rights, and their role in the democratic process.

4. Diverse Representation: Young individuals come from varied backgrounds and experiences. Encouraging their participation ensures diverse representation, which can only strengthen the democratic fabric of our country.

5. Solution: Lowering the Age of Candidacy: To encourage youth participation, consider reducing the minimum age for contesting elections. This will not only motivate young leaders but also give the public an opportunity to choose from a wider range of candidates.

6. Solution: Youth Parliament Initiatives: Governments can initiate youth parliaments at various levels. This not only gives youngsters a platform to voice their concerns but also equips them with essential skills for future leadership roles.

To conclude, infusing young blood into the political sphere can usher in transformative changes. By fostering an environment where they can participate, learn, and lead, we can truly harness the potential of our nation's youth.

Thank you.

Hi Guys,

"Youth in Politics" as we all know that India is a young nation because of young people who are assets of our nation and if we talk about youth in politics so there are two kinds of youth, First those young people who are members of any particular party and second those people who are not members of any party but they support the parties and both are important for the area. Those people who are not members of any particular party so those people are supportive for those people who are members of the party and being members they are able to keep doing their work as per the support. It is a clear picture when any new young candidate is elected so that candidate tries to show his/her ability, capacity to do work having energetic passion and all the youth get inspire by that personality. But it is also a fact that because of lack experience of age they could commit some mistakes which are shown before the public I'm not trying to say they always commit mistakes but sometimes and it is also difficult so say that it is naturally or not. It is true that young people are well educated and having handsome experience of many fields they perform better but if we talk about age experience so that is also a particular experience for the people which also very important because age experience teaches us a lot about the fact of the society where we try to take breath spreading our arms.

Become a leader is a kind of job which is required a lot of hard work by the elected from the chair and those young leaders who keep their all focus on their jobs doing hard work they always get success in this field because this area is totally different as it looks like. As each coin has two faces this area also has two faces, First is outside area and second is inside area and both are different at its place and depend up to the elected.

So, in conclusion, I'd like to say that young educated leaders are better in politics than those people who are elected but not educated and having healthy experience themselves because healthy experience creates a healthy environment for the nation.

Thanks.

Hello guys. Good morning.

I'm CHANDAN BAKSHI (NIT JAMSHEDPUR).

Today, I will discuss youth in politics. The country desperately needs some young leaders who are energetic, enthusiastic, morally sound and diligent. There is no doubt that our country has progressed a great deal since the time of independence, but I'm sure our development would have proceeded much faster if we had some young torchbearers to light the way.

There can be two reasons for this deplorable state of Indian politics. One may be that the youth today are not interested in actively participated in the political field. They are content with what they are doing and how the country is being governed.

The second reason is maybe that young people are not given opportunities to prove themselves with the excuse that they are not sufficiently experienced to participate actively in the governance of the country. Almost all the major political parties seem to be functioning under the monopoly of old leaders. Old people should realize that they must make way for youngster people to take control of the activities.

Occasionally, old people think youngsters have not to experience at all. But according to me, youth should participate in politics as we have seen that we can't maturity by age level it's depending on the presence of mind and how the person is thinking about the situation involving all the countries like India. India is the country of youth so the requirement of the youth only understands by youth only so in my broadminded and the accept changes very quickly and they have the ability to take a risk. And the main point is experiencing can't gain by the age it depends on our understanding level so the experience doesn't matter. So youth is mandatory in politics. Thank you!

Jay Hind to All.

The entry of youth into Indian politics has always been an important phenomenon. In a country where 65% of the population is below 35 years of age, the voice of the youth is not only important but also decisive. In today's digital age, the young generation is more aware and active and they are also playing a strong role in the political scenario.

Rise of youth and their challenges:

Young leaders have not only held important positions in political parties but have also introduced many innovative ideas and transformative policies. However, they face many challenges, such as lack of experience, co-existence with older generation leaders and incorporating innovation into the traditional political structure.

Technological progress and the young generation:

The biggest strength of the young generation is their technical understanding. By using social media, young leaders have been successful in conveying their message to millions of people. This platform provides them with the ability to widely disseminate their policies and ideas among young voters.

Youth and political representation:

At present the number of young MPs in the Indian Parliament is still low, but this is changing. Young MLAs and MPs are setting new dimensions in politics with their dynamism and modern approach. The increasing number of these youth leaders is not only influencing the political discourse but also giving rise to the youth's demand for greater representation.

Electoral politics and youth:

Youth participation in electoral politics has given rise to new types of election campaigns. Young candidates address voters in a more informative and innovative manner, bringing innovations to the election process.

Thank you.

Namaste,

That's our formal greeting isn't it but funny this is considered low fashioned in "today's world" I am not opposing youth in politics well they must, at last they are the one whom we look upon. For garbage to get cleaned we are the one who should take the initiatives. But on the other page youth of India are so well to manipulate they are not firm in their thinking impatient don't know what to do. Look politics is a field where you need it all. You have to be Spiderman saying WITH LOTS OF POWER COMES LOTS OF RESPONSIBILITY to an iron man who is free from his thoughts and knows where he is heading. When I look at youth I think about Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, Kishan and so many they are a literary setting to set wrong roles in front of us. See Narendra Modi, then my cheif minister Devendra Fadnavis was really young when they entered politics but just because of their own will and higher patience they did so well that today we literally look upon them.

THIS IS WHAT WE NEED GUYS. We need determination we need people who would love to raise the country, not the one who will raise the country.

We as Indians are proud of our nation but we as Indians don't want to serve our nation, we just want to be mere observers point out the flaws and never try to correct it.

We, now I even mean Myself I want to be the change. We all are far intelligent we have ideas we know how to prosper we know how to change what is good, great, greatest.

Dudes we all are still living in a developing country don't you want to stand in a country who does not need SYMPATHY from the other ones. This is our chance try making a difference rather than pointing out.

Youth involvement in politics is a crucial aspect of fostering a vibrant, representative, and forward-thinking society. Here are some key points about the significance and impact of youth participation in politics:

1. Fresh Perspectives: Young people bring new ideas and perspectives that can challenge the status quo and lead to innovative solutions for contemporary issues.

2. Representation: Youth make up a significant portion of the population. Their active participation ensures that their interests and needs are represented in policy-making.

3. Future Leadership: Engaging in politics at a young age helps in developing future leaders who are well-versed in the political landscape and governance.

4. Mobilization and Activism: Young people often spearhead social movements and campaigns, driving change on issues such as climate change, social justice, and digital rights.

5. Use of Technology: Youth are typically more adept at using digital tools and social media, which are crucial for modern political campaigns and activism.

6. Political Education: Participation in politics educates young people about democratic processes, civic responsibilities, and the importance of voting.

7. Policy Impact: Young politicians and activists can influence policies directly related to education, employment, housing, and other issues that predominantly affect them.

Encouraging youth to engage in politics involves education, mentorship, and creating platforms where their voices can be heard and valued.

Hello Friends,

With due respect to all the views to make India a developed country. I am here to put my words regarding the involvement of Indian youths in politics. No doubt in it that this is something very good and innovative. Our achievement as a nation would be for sure in a great extent.

But Politics needs skilled youths who have an idea about our country and they have a great knowledge about Indian history, geography and civics. Those who are ready to put ideas and implementation should be done by the senior politicians.

I have an Idea which can help to get skilled people in Politics. Why we as a nation can't organize a competitive test for all the aspirants who want to be a politician. It'll help a lot to get skilled people. As all the exams are always held on yearly basis. Just take an example of PO of SBI bank, An aspirant should be very much skilled to grab that position. After being a PO he is in probation period and then h became a manager. So why we can't schedule politician like that, which will be helpful to mitigate a kind of embarrassment when we find our Politician Education history.

We need Experienced people for sure but they should always be a backbone for the youths. WE as an Indian nation are divided as a party. Why we can't appreciate the Idea which comes from any party.

I hope this would be a great help to get a good governance.

Thanks for Reading!

Hello friends, I would like to say that politics should be an amalgamation of both the youth and the aged and experienced people. The youth of our country who are full of vigour and passion to serve the nation can contribute by developing new ideas in technical and other fields also but there is a dearth of experience in them. To implement their ideas there is need for people who are experienced and involved in politics for a long time. Though there is an abundance of snollygoster politicians in our country still the honest ones can help out the youth in achieving overall upliftment of the nation. The youth are more connected to the common mass and can understand the people, their ideology, need and basic problems. They can come up with revolutionary ideas to solve the problems that are gnawing the society gradually.

But we also need to see that other systems of the society also needs youth as much as politics because be it health or education if everyone gets involved in decision making who will implement them. So besides joining politics youth also needs to fight at the border, become doctors to serve the poor people and actively involve in the education system of the society to impart knowledge. As someone has said that politics is nothing but polite tricks, youths will surely contribute to upgrading the nation with new tricks.

Thank you.
