Women are not fit for Defense Services

Hello friends as I read some views above, in which some satisfies me and some not. I want to share with all of us that the person whether he or she is selected in armed forces is not so eminently chosen for physically strong otherwise they will take Sushil kumar, Vijendar singh, Mary com and all, rather they take a person who has 'sound mind' which has capable to take responsibility of situation that it will definitely solve and a reasonable planning which give fruitful result and I think we all average people have this which make us leader in front of all and this not we joined with that if it is a selection of armed force so physical strength is most important and which will come with training and skills.

And the most important like see the women of Israel how fantastically they participated in Palestine war and America too as we see Nicola Thomas by this we also have to take lesson that we definitely develop our society by supporting women in armed forces which created a healthy environment in our country so unhygienic conditions are there and it is very safe place for women to work and they enjoy an adventurous life. As at this women day our theme to "Make it happen" so we start from today.

Okay, I am not in the Indian army, so I won't talk about death in Indian army. But however strong you are one bullet in the head is enough to kill you, which is usually how humans fight in war. If somebody is given a gun with some training, I am quite sure they can perform the task unless they die or run away (in which case they die either way).

This country is being ran by two genders, its not up to one to decide whether the other will do something or not. Some common problems that might occur, is that they will attempt to have physical relationship in the refugees during a war or even rape which in both cases makes it miserable to fight, there should be a death penalty for both the cases in order to stop such things from happening.

What happens when you go to the battleground, people die, no matter how powerful you are there is a major chance that you will die. Many men have died, many more will die, whats wrong if women dies too alongside them. Death does bring victory, if we need more death for the country to live, whats wrong.

I think I definitely agree that women are fit for defense forces, or army, or navy or anything that brings the gun with it but that doesn't change a thing. I too am applying for the Indian navy, we will see what happens. Women deserves everything that a man gets in his life even death, only thing that Indian women don't deserve is respect and love, because they don't return the favor.

Don't believe me, read all the comments in the thread and analyze yourself, still don't believe me read the newspapers, watch television, no, go on social media sites. Thing is you don't want to believe, What! you don't like me, well I don't like you either, but at least I support the thread, so don't sue me okay.

I am going to put my thoughts on the given topic very briefly.

1) On the whole, all the genders in nature are equal but most probably are different.

2) Men are usually physically stronger than women.

3) If a woman carries out all the tasks that she should do to prove her efficiency to be in army, then what is the problem?

4) Why lower the level of the tasks? It is not the privilege we girls are talking about. We want the permission to be their with full respect only if we prove our efficiency totally.

5) If naturally the number of women in army is lesser because lesser girls can do it, then I have no objection. I would not like to advocate increase in the number of women in army by sending there inefficient women like me! because it is a very serious issue! we are talking about our nation's safety. But if a woman can do it all, then what is the problem?

So, efficient women should obviously be in army.

Hi Sir, I like your discussion! Yes, it really makes sense. But I guess nobody here is being feminist or whatever from your comment, it is clear that you know a lot about the life in army. Your knowledge is awesome!

You have claimed in your third paragraph that under certain common conditions (in army) , 95% of women faint. Okay let us admit that most probably you are absolutely right. But we are talking about the rest 5%. What about them? I think they should be in army. (I totally respect everybody's views).

Women should be recruited in the Indian armed forces. It should be a matter of respect that women are looking forward to seek such opportunities, to work for the country. It is a matter of fact that they are less stronger than men in terms of physical fitness, but what if they are made that capable of looking at the worst side of defense services such as wars, deaths, etc.

A woman is as much aspirant to do such jobs as men are. Let their efforts spell success is all an Indian woman aspires. From ages, women have put forth there efforts in Warfiels, for eg - Razia Sultan, Rani Laxmibai, are such great women. Every woman is not great as them but they can be great in fields as such logistics, administration, medical etc. According to the law, they equally share the law of equality, so the recruitment equality in varied defense branches must be equal.

As the above conversations say, men are most deserving. But if we consider about a family, it is incomplete without a woman. Similarly, a defense family is incomplete if there's no woman. Women are least deserving as they claim but they can be made capable to hold the terms of lieutenant, captain etc, and work accordingly. Proud to be a woman!

After reading the discussion thread, I can see the following main points.

1. Women should be provided equal rights.

I agree but Constitutionally and manipulatively they possess more than that today.

2. Women are physically weak.

Not true, women are naturally stronger in weight lifting capacity. That's another story that majority is not interested in physical fitness.

3. Mental sharpness.

They are at par if not lower, can be seen in day to day life.

4. Quality of Armed Forces might get lowered.

Only if Skill measurement criteria are relaxed like it is now in case of Reservation Quotas, Or in non defense fields where being a girl has an advantage of extra points in competitive examinations.

5. Men might get pushed to war fields with women using their gender in getting office postings away from war zones.

This is indeed one big possibility, like Quota units and personnel with links to high posts, although Army personnel can shed better light on this. In Civilian Industries, it is pretty visible how easy it is for a female (exceptions are always there).

Trends of neglect towards males is becoming more evident with all the perks being diverted for fairer gender, may it be scholarships or jobs. Yes, jealousy towards females is also rising because of their rise out of ditches but it is also true that males get much more manipulated by females in work places or any Co-ed institution.

A coin has two sides, generalizing an individual incident is not rational but so is the case with neglecting general incidents occurring all around. Male fraternity is not mature enough to see through the deceit played by opposite gender because of the long absence of females from open playing turfs and that coupled with jealousy creates a hostile environment.

Women's are not fit for defense services this is wrong because they have also capacity to do very well. In present generation some non educated parents kill women at their birth because they think women are not good for their family. But some people or parents accept women because they said at birth Lakshmi is come in their house they celebrated everywhere. So we say all people to accept women. If they do any work in company, in defense, etc they do their work very properly as compare to men.

Women's are definitely fit for defense they secured our country by giving our life. Eg: In the TV serial like serial Diya Aur Bati Ham. In that TV serial the common women Sandhaiya Rathi with their practices they become the big IPS officer. So in last we say women's are definitely fit for defense services.

Women are really capable for join defense services. No doubt about it. They have ability to work day and night and any situation, We really proud to our Indian brave women's actually Indian defense overhaul not just enemies but weather extremities as well they fight two battles, one against the enemies of the state and one which is fought adverse world most extreme unconditional inclement weather which is one of the most dangerous critical place Siachen Glacier is located in 5.7 km above sea level.

So now women also showing interested in joining defense. My conclusion is man or women everyone would be treated equally and also give them equal chance to develop individually.

I am also in the favour that women are must be treated equally. It is in our constitution. So any women who wants to join in Indian army must be supported. It is the rumour that women is weaker than men but it is not correct in all stuffs. You can also imagine that when a pregnant lady give birth to his children she have to face pain which is 2.5 times greater than a pain that any human can tolerate.

So you can say that women can tolerate more pain than men. So women must have the right to join Indian defence service. But in India our women also do not want to join defense service but if she wants to join you must not stop her. And I think a law is also made for women who wants to join Indian defense service.
