Women are not fit for Defense Services

In my opinion.

Girls can join defence forces but not to fight on borders. As I think the way a male soldier can fight girls can't and if girls manage to do that also then we have to think about the consequences of becoming prisoner during wars, then what will happen to girls they will be raped, brutalised that they can't withstand.

But there are other corps are available in defence like armed medical forces, engineering forces, law, education etc.

It is not like that girls can not join defence forces they can but not on the borders to fight.

I am not agree with the concept that women are not fit for defense. Women are giving a very good result in defense forces. They are really capable to do everything in every walk of life.

If we really want to empower the women then we should forget this type of negativity.

Had the topic been changed to "Are women needed for defence forces?" it would be much better. I totally agree that women are fit for defence forces. Though the proportion may vary when compared to men. If in men 6 out of 10 qualifies, in women it may be 2 or 3 out of 10. But my question is that 'Are they really needed?'.

What if she is required to leave her home/family for 5 or 10 years to perform her duty? Think of the plight her family members faces. What if she is a mother of two kids? There is no substitute for mothers love/care. The best way for a woman to serve a nation would be by raising her children with moral standards. One step further she can motivate her son to join the defence force.

Women - Are they fit 4 defense services.

I am not saying every women should be taken to defense services.

In my opinion women with courage, spirit of adventure and dedication towards the country should be given a chance To prove their talent in this field.

One can't say that women are not fit for defense services.

Why should we ban them based on gender.

It is true that there exists biological differences but it could be overtaken by presence of mind and training.

If the women of our country can bring the GOLD, BRONZE & SILVER medals for our country in Olympics.

If Women reached in pic point of Mount Everest and arrived in the surface of moon.

If they can perform very well inside the police department then why don't inside the military?

Just think about women like PT Usha, Sania Mirza and Rani Laxmi bai before you say women are week!

Women are hardworking, patient and dedicated.

Let me ask you one thing how can you say a woman's week. Every women is able to survive pregnancy pain.

Pain like all the bones of our body are breaking. Every women endure that pain!

Everyone should be provided an equal opportunity to prove their worth, be it a GIRL or a BOY.

In my opinion women should be given an unbiased chance, if they seem fit they must be recruited!

In my opinion women are not a thing which compare with a man. Woman have own qualities and man have own. As we all know that woman is a symbol of sacrifice, courage, determination, cooperation etc. So in defence need only courage with a practical and as well as imagination of war so the power of imagination is great of women. So why we are opposing that women should not join army.

In my opinion I strongly believe that women are always fit for defence service, as women is the strong creature made by god, if she can give birth to a baby if she can handle her family, if she can stand in-front of her family in any problem so she can do anything. We have a very wonderful example IPS officer Kiran Bedi, who gave all the concept clear regarding whether women are fit for defence or not.

My Dear Friends, Today we are talking about women empowerment and other side we are saying women are not fit for Armed Forces. That is not right. Today's women are more powerful than men and they can also do the each and every work which is done by men. We can't ignore most of terrorist and Naxal group have women and they are fighting like anything. I am agree what they are doing is not good. But if we encourage them to join Armed forces definitely they will put their full effort to save our Nation and we can control on terrorism and Naxal also. So we need to give out full support to women to join Armed Forces. Thank you.

My friends as my thought, women is fit for army and much for war also. They can use there brain in the war for making strategy but if you thought about your sister, do you want to sand your sister in front of enemy?, no you are brother you can not want this in your living time, she gave you raksha sutra and believe that you can capable for hir security. Then why she go for infantry?

Women are the all in all in any sector not only medical but they are able to do gob whatever done by men so there is no matter to arise the question that women is fit for defence service.

This topic needs lot of brainstorming before giving any opinion. There is no doubt that women are capable of doing anything they want and they have been proving that since ages but that is not sufficient. I'm sure if women are sent to border to defend nation they will give their life to defend them But I don't think that is place they belong.

I think everyone has a part to play and that depends on us how smart we are in selecting our choices. When it comes to defence services, soldiers and big army is not enough to win the war, you need resources and information. I say women could be brains and men can be muscles.
