The pace of population growth in India has reduced to certain extent in the last decade as compared to other decades. Now in 2014 in India maximum parents has an average of 2 children but in 1970 it was 4. It means that ppl are more getting education about sex and birth control. So education is the only way to get rid of this problem. I think that the cities, towns are on the right track but the village should come in the limelight. They need more education to eradicate this problem.

The government should impose stringent laws such as restricting one child per couple. If any body breaks the rule, the couple should be banished from the country.

Hi,
In my opinion increasing population is a major problem in India. Due to it we can see many problems such as unemployment, lack of medical facilities etc. This increasing population should be reduced. The government has to play a major role to do this. It can be done conducting by some awareness programs and making aware to the people about the impacts of increase in population, implementing schemes like family planning, one child motto or two etc. And also every citizen should be a part of this awareness programs in educating the people about the population increasing. Some of these steps can be useful in reducing the population to some extent.

Hello guys, my name is Shubham Mishra and I would like to pay attention of your on the topic of population explosion. Let's talk about population explosion. India is second high populated country in this world. If don't use prevention than this will get first high populated country. Let's consider what kind of prevention we should use. Firstly we should take help of NGO and many kind of social worker.
They provide awareness to the Indian citizen and specially rural peoples. Rural people have need to know why sex educate is important in our life. We should tell him what is advantage and disadvantage of population explosion. We should try to make him aware than this will completely stop.

India is a big country and largest people belong to ruler area and these are not educated and lack of knowledge about sex. So government should first interactive about that what is this and make a hard rule for every citizen and apply as soon as possible and the second thing he promoted to what is bani fit and what is bad effect for a new generation. And my opinion, every person thinks about this.

The more children families in poverty have, the harder it is for them to get out of poverty. I am australian and am living in India for one year. I may be wrong, but I think the poverty and population in India is too long gone to do anything about it. It would require billions of dollars to change anything in india, and with a corrupt government, this will never happen. Im sorry to say it, but I don't think anything is going to change in India. Poverty will always be here. The only way I see it changing is to impose a 1 child law, and if people have more than 1 then they have to pay a large fine.

I think if we want to control the Indian population we should main focus on education, and government to should make a rule that nobody can marry before 27 for men and 25 for women and also give subsidized for less children.

Overpopulation will eventually cause the earth's demise! Something must be done before it is too late. Someone, someday, and probably sooner than later, is going to take some sort of radical action to address this problem before it becomes too late.

Read in times of India today abut lay-offs waiting to happen. In a country like India where you don't have social security to protect you, layoffs can be a great shock. With more than a billion people loitering about in the country, with already a low employment rate we have more and more people added into the job industry with hardly any jobs. Whats going on?
Man is selfish and masochistic in this country with a child and without any means to support the child, leave alone the growth of the child but also the basic necessities are a distant dream. Is it so hard to understand? Are we reduced to animals in this country? That we don't understand or we cannot analyse the right time to have a baby. Its starting to be a privileged to see a human here.
