Hi friends, in my view increasing population in INDIA has both benefits and defects. Why because, at present world's technology developing very fast, for that lots of people are required to develop the technology in efficient way. So we have to use them in a effective manner by providing motivational skills and scholarships, educational centres.
As well as defects also there, that are lack of resources for future generation and lot of pollution, increment in usage of automobiles, unknown diseases.
So government should provide strict rules for family planning. Spreading the news about family planning and its uses for rural people by News papers, radios and TV's.

I read all of your's comment but don't ya'all think that ya'all are speaking the same thing that the population due to illiteracy and villagers ideology and bla bla. But for a second thing about the ranking off most populated countries. I mean India is second most populous country and if all the people think that is the main obstacle for development of India than what about china.
If we had to judge a countries development scale on the basis of the population than china should have been the least developed country in Asia but on contrary it is the most developed country in Asia instead of its high population. It is only because of efficiency of the government, its ruling ability and plan execution that develops a country.
The population may have effected the development scale but the main reason is corruption not population. In-fact population can also be treated as an asset for it makes the competition tougher and brings out the best. So, population is definitely a bane but not to the development, it has only been degraded due to inefficacy of the government in India.

Hi Friends, According to me we must encourage people to increasing population. People in India are more than 50% people are living below poverty line. They think more children means more earning hands. We have to take steps to change people thinking.

According to me, Population is the major problem we are facing today. It is one of the major cause which restricts the economic development and unemployment problem in our country. Awareness should be given to rural people. Illiteracy should be avoided. Educated minds will know the arising problems and they will insist about the need for the control of population. Government should take steps to control population.
There is a proverb that "Rome cannot be built in a day". So, population growth cannot be controlled within a day. Human resources are necessary for development. But it it is in excess it may cause problems. It should be kept in mind.

These are a few hard suggestions for population control.
1. Make it illegal to marry without a Licence, only people who are more than say 24-26 years of age and earning enough to support a family should be allowed to marry.
2. Make it illegal to have children without getting a Licence first. The people on welfare ie. Public distribution system and needing assistance from the government should not be allowed to have children.
3. No one should be allowed to have more than one child. There should be a mandatory vasectomy after one child.
4. All people who are not even able to earn enough to feed themselves should be forcibly vasectomized to prevent them from having children and contributing to population growth. That would be all the beggars, inhabitants of slum clusters and like.
The population control can only be achieved through strict measures and not through mere slogans.

Hi Friends, I would like to suggest my views on this topic. In our country more than 40% people are living below the poverty line. They think more children means more earning. If everyone should realize small family is the happy family than we can solve this problem.

We are facing many problems with this increasing population. If this continues we can't find land to live. government laws also don't affect this increasing population. Only alternative for this problem is changing the people mindset. Government has to conduct more programs to show the bad affects if this continues. As there is no awareness in rural areas so government has to conduct awareness programs in rural area. Then they will know the disadvantages of over population and limit their children to one or two.

In my views population is the big problems in nowadays. Because every person want to become success but they are facing lot of problems such as deerness, corruption etc. The most useful solution of this problem is that every person should be illiterate or at least one person of any family who take the right decisions. It helps us to reduce this problem. As my friends said that the unemployability and deerness are also increases by the population. I agree with all of you and it is solve by only because of taking much suitable decisions for our family and also for developing our country.

Population is a true devil for India. It is one of the worst problems for India. Government should take proper steps in controlling the ever increasing giant population in India. I think that the most important factor in the increase of population is illiterate. So government should try its best to remove illiteracy from its roots. Also some rules should be formulated for controlling the population.

The topic is what shall we do about our ever increasing population. So I would first like to focus on some of the problem that arises due to the vast population. Large population means large resource consumption, more illiteracy, more unemployment, more congestion, more diversity, and most importantly these factors will lead to higher inflation as the gap between demand and supply will be increased. More demand and less supply. So it must be controlled. However population can not be controlled by the government only.
It must be brought to the knowledge of common people especially rural. So more awareness campaign need to be done in order to stop this fast growing population. But only campaigning is not going to help. Unless the people get the education they will not be able to understand the side effects of large population. So ultimately government need to do the arrangement for the education of the people so that at least the basic education must be gained by everyone. I know that there are various programs run by government to give free education to the people but it needs to be implemented correctly otherwise we will surly going to beat China in the population in next few years.
