Birth control is a must for Indian, it not only effect India but others too. Population of UP comparable to Brazil, but the source of income and its living standard are incomparable. Population is not the remedy for a country like India. So stop reproducing more or else great famine is unfold to come.

Hai friends, I would like to add a few words to the ongoing discussion, According to me, in today's expensive world nobody likes to have more than two children. But the problem of segregation of boys and girls arises, That is causing an increased population.
So we should focus on India's sex ratio.

Hi,
I would like to add some major causes for increasing population:
1. GENDER PREFERENCE.
2. UNAVAILABILITY OF PREGNANCY PRECAUTIONARY THINGS IN URBAN AREAS OR IF AVAILABLE COST IS SO HIGH
3. MULTIPLE MARRIAGES
4. CHILD MARRIAGES
5 SEX EDUCATIONS
6. NO RESTRICTION ON CHILDBIRTH CONTROL.

Increasing population in India has become a very big problem. To reduce this problem everyone should take part in the awareness programmes. I don't mean that everyone should waste their time and do campaign but we should atleast try to create awareness among the people who are around us.

One child policy is against human right. In a Democratic country like India, it is not possible to apply this policy.
Moreover, one child policy does not see the way substantial result in the growth rate of the economy. Indeed it may lead to a decline in the future growth rate.

Hi Friends, I would like to suggest my views on this topic. In our country more than 40% people are living below the poverty line. They think more children means more earning. If everyone should realize small family is the happy family than we can solve this problem.

People are lazy enough so that if you don't force them to do something, they won't do it. One way to curb this problem would be an ideal dictatorship kind of government, which at this point of time can be done with a complete majority in the parliament.

1. People who have 2 or less than 2 children will be given a job and food for their family. The financial problem should be taken care.
2. The government must promise that those children will be given scholarship till they become an educated person.
