Water resources should not be nationalised otherwise there also we will have a lot many A. Rajas cropping up and water will not actually be reaching to the ones who need it. More so with monsoon patterns changing since a last few years western parts of India which received scanty rainfalls are now receiving sufficient rainfalls. So instead of nationalising people should be trained for modern methods of water conservation and storage.

Yes, I agree this above point of water resources should be nationalized, because we all are educated but today we are not taken any seriousness about environment. Water resources are the aesthetic of the environment so as to we should give water resources authority to government then we realise how to use water resources and how to protect them then we will get satisfaction. So water resources like river should be nationalized.

Coming to pros:
- Nationalization can improve gross usage of water resources there by decreasing wastage
- It creates employment to several people directly or indirectly
- Future scope of utility of these can be estimated and implemented

Well, the cons are:
- Political issues may concern the implementation of developmental activities
- Corruption may go high
- Inefficient monitoring leads to increased wastes of water resources

No, it should not be nationalized, as it is in local government only. If it is nationalized there is a chance to use that water to their political career. It creates a lot of problems between two states, otherwise if it is in local government they use that water according to their convenience and need. But central government make a committee take care of rivers and ensure water to every state through interlocking of rivers.

As above friends told nationalization of water is not much necessary. Because definitely the power of constructing dams or some other source will be given to the political parties. There would be only corruption and not service to people.

But having nationalized water will help people of different states for their survival. For this the solution would be choosing a correct political leader who has mind to serve people.

I agree with nationalising water resources. Then there will not be any water scarcity problems prevailling in country. Then all dams, ponds, wells can be effectively managed by govt to distribute water to all citizens of equal cost.

Water supply can be done through ration cards through litere cans. In some areas people are suffering lot to fetch water. This can be reduced. Govt can save lot of water futher use.

Hi friends this is raj. I think water resources should not be nationalized. Already we have many more problems and corruption cases in India if we start this project this time that also leads to corruption. So rather than thinking about nationalization of water resources we can build more DAMS across the river. That makes the to grow up the level of ground water and we can use those water on different seasons.

In my point of view, water must be nationalized!because cauvery issues can be rectified. In southern states cauvery project is the major issue. Likewise, in northern states there are so many problems. But, it not come to our ears for consideration, because of the local politicians. So, as a citizen of India, we must support for the experts and leaders to make water become nationalized.

Thank you, friends!

Good Evening Friends,

In My point of view, Water resources should be nationalized, Because water is most important for living and non-living things. In India having the many rivers. But many rural areas don't have water. This is must be changed.

India is an agriculture country. But many farmers don't have the water for agriculture purpose. If they continue this situation, Famine comes for food and water.

Let us keep aside the advantages and discuss the legal merit of the case for a better understanding on right to water resource. Like any other natural resource, water is available under the soil surface and it is a movable property without any state boundaries. Like any other natural resource water can also be nationalised on the legal merits. One must file a petition in the Supreme Court on this regard.
