National rivers must be nationalized and govt should have full domination over it. Its not a property of any individual state or its leaders who seeks for their own benefit. Now a days it became a tendency to oppose all the issues of govt by the political or opposition leaders and finally it hampers the growth of our economy and country. There is no unity or oneness between the states of our country finally if the domination over the rivers go in the hand of political parties then sure it will lead to sabotage. And also no politics is permanent and only the people can rely on government.

Yes, I support to this, definitely we should nationalize our water resources. Why because of if the water resources are on private sector they will misuse. For example, in nowadays the water is purifying and packing into water bottles and charging more money for people. This is most embarrassing moment that we have in our country.

* For a secession and diverse country like India which is a agriculture depended water resource should be nationalized.
* No matter how technology have engulfed our lifestyle at last we have to bow to the farmers our nation.
* Hydro-politics is threatening the very fabric of federalism its time for the center to empower itself to deal with interstate river conflicts and thus by saving our nation from looming threat of water famine.

According to me water resources should be nationalized because in our GDP rate there is a Major part from agriculture so that if water resources will be nationalized it would definitely impact on it and helpful for our national economic growth.

I Think nationalization of water reserves is not a correct way because in case water resources are nationalized then the power of distribution of water comes in the hands of central government, in present local parties plays a major role in the states without the help of local parties national parties are not form a government so local parties can impact the decision of central government. Then what's the use of nationalization of water resources.

From my point of view, In current scenario, implementing a thing is very difficult and when it seems like big project it will be very much difficult to implement and to monitor. Nationalization of water resources is important but in our case, water sharing between two states itself a big problem and not made possible by the Government.
It may not be possible to connect from north to south, but a separate body can look after the water resources in their own state and all possible measures can be taken to connect the nearby states which is having high flow in water resources. Through that, it can became nationalized and also easy to implement the same with the cooperation of the states. All the natural resources been restricted to specific area in the intention to easy managing and understanding of the problems not to stop to the whole mankind who is from other states and areas.
Nationalizing is an important task and before that we should take measures to stop the water being sent to sea. It will not happened over night but all the governments should see to that issue also.
All possible measures should be implemented as soon as possible with less political interference and its our duty to save our natural resources for our future generation. It should not stop with discussion alone everyone must think of our upcoming generation too.

In my point of view, water resources should be nationalized. Because, water is necessary for all living things. Many people suffer for pot of water. Agriculture is backbone in our country. Needs more dams.
So, water resources should be nationalized.
So, water resources should be nationalized.

I feel that water should not be nationalized. India being a diverse country, makes it difficult for the govt to allocate and divide resources equally to the entire population. Hence a state-wise allocation is used as it is less cumbersome and so that state governments can handle the water resources in a better and localized way.
Also, nationalization of water would lead to water wars and huge demand which will lead to dying out of the water in rivers. Even without nationalization, states are fighting over sharing water and excessive use of shared waters. Hence it would cause a major disaster if we nationalize water.
Instead efforts should be made to conservation, water harvesting techniques, construction of wells and bringing in a better system for recording and billing water usage as it is done for electricity.

Hi Friends in my point of view nationalization of rivers should be done by all means.
It not only helps the farmers and the middle class it also helps the revenue of our country, the more the farmers grow, the less we are dependent on other countries.
Anyways in the northern side people are vastly getting affected by floods and most of the water goes to sea without proper usage. Even though it increases corruption but lakhs and lakhs of farmers won't die every year because of droughts.
The only solution is govt should start implementing the project in one side and slowly the development will continue to other states.
Its real petty the country which was rich in all wealth and natural resource is suffering currently in the hands of politicians. JAI HIND.
