Tobacco is not good for the human body, it can cause various illnesses such as cancer, lung infections, and mental health issues, everybody knows this still they consume it, i feel that is the saddest part. Also, the government needs to take against the pan masala advertisement, which is another way to sell tobacco. In my perspective, it is one of the most dangerous things the human body can consume and it should be banned.

Hello all,

Tobacco causes cancer. It is not good for our health. On tobacco product packaging, the owner clearly states that it is harmful to our bodies. It creates problems for the lungs. People know all these things but still ignore them. They do not understand the real meaning of life. " I think tobacco should have been banned.

=> Yes, Tobacco Should Be Banned:

1. Health Benefits: Tobacco use is a leading cause of numerous serious health conditions, including cancer, heart disease, and respiratory illnesses. Banning it could significantly reduce these health issues and save lives.

2. Economic Impact: The healthcare costs associated with treating tobacco-related illnesses are enormous. Reducing or eliminating tobacco use could lead to significant savings in healthcare expenses.

3. Environmental Concerns: Tobacco farming and production can have detrimental effects on the environment, including deforestation, pesticide use, and pollution. Banning tobacco could help mitigate these environmental impacts.

4. Addiction and Youth: Tobacco is highly addictive, and its use often starts in adolescence. A ban could prevent young people from starting to use tobacco and help reduce addiction rates.

5. Secondhand Smoke: Tobacco smoke poses serious health risks to non-smokers who are exposed to it. A ban could protect public health by eliminating exposure to secondhand smoke.

=> No, Tobacco Should Not Be Banned:

1. Personal Freedom: Adults have the right to make their own choices, even if those choices involve health risks. Banning tobacco could be seen as infringing on personal freedom and autonomy.

2. Economic Impact: The tobacco industry provides jobs and economic benefits, including taxes and business revenues. A ban could have significant economic repercussions, including job losses and decreased tax revenues.

3. Black Market: Prohibiting tobacco might lead to the creation of a black market, which could be difficult to control and might exacerbate related issues such as crime and unregulated products.

4. Harm Reduction: Instead of an outright ban, harm reduction strategies such as promoting vaping or smokeless tobacco could offer a less harmful alternative while still addressing health concerns.

5. Cultural and Social Factors: In some cultures, tobacco has social and cultural significance. A ban might not take these factors into account and could face significant resistance.

Hi all.

Tobacco causes cancer, tobacco owners write this slogan on the tobacco paper and people know that it is very harmful to the lungs, and other parts of our body but they ignore that and eat tobacco very casually they don't fear for their families, because life gets people only one time but they don't know the rights means of the life,

According to me, tobacco is banned properly in the whole world, not only in India.

Thank you all.

There is no brainer in saying that tobacco should be banned.
Firstly, it is harmful to the person who consumes it.
Secondly, the labour included in making this tobacco consists of most women and children workers supporting child labour along with low compensation. It is the most common cause of cancer in people.
It is not ruining just the present generation but also the upcoming generation which is the driver of the success of the country. They are mostly influenced by celebrities who irrationally promote these kinds of products through advertisements. It is sad to see that there is no regulation to advertise harmful products like tobacco in India.

In my view, tobacco should be banned because many people in our society are affected by tobacco, from younger to older age people. It causes heart diseases, strokes and mouth cancers. It can easily affect our body parts. So we have to ban tobacco.

Using tobacco not only affects the person one who is addicted to that but it also affects their family and their mental health.

So, it must be banned completely by the government.

In my point of view, there should be a complete ban on tobacco because it is injurious to our health and the leading cause of many fatal diseases like brain tumours, cancer and lung disease.

So a huge campaign has to start so that they can know the merits and demerits it.

Hello everyone,

Thank you for giving me this opportunity.

My point is that tobacco should banned, many of our youngsters are addicted & sefer to tobacco. 40% of cancer is caused by tobacco. Tobacoo is injured to heath. The government should take strict action against tobacco to protect our youngster's life.

My suggestion is that tobacco farming grow large in numbers. So the Government take action against tobacco farming & make laws against tabbacoo.

The production may be decreased so the price of tobacoo automatically down. And people who consume tobacco will automatically decrease.

Thank you.

Hello everyone.

In my point of view, tobacco should not be banned suddenly because too many people are addicted to it. If we ban them suddenly, it will cause their both mental and physical health. Also, many farmers are cultivating tobacco.

By banning, it will impact their life. That's why first we have to create awareness about tobacco's side effects to the people. And then we should reduce its production. After that, we can restrict it completely.
