Yes, it should be banned because it is not a healthy product and many people are suffering because of it.
But banning tobacco is not the only solution to this. If tobacco gets banned then, it will have a great impact on the people's who are tobacco addicts. Illegal supply of tobacco will start and it's price will also rise which is also a serious issue. People's who are involved in the making of tobacco will be greatly affected. They will immediately lose their job and will have nothing to do for a living. Therefore, before banning tobacco government should take proper actions for the people's. They should do proper planning for eg rehab centres should be opened for people who are tobacco addicts, other work opportunities for daily wagers who work in tobacco making so that they have something to work upon for a living.
If we banned tobacco our GDP of the country will also fall down which is another serious issue that needs resolution.
So, I will like to conclude with this that tobacco can be banned but with proper planning and actions.
Thank you. Have a great day ahead.

Hello everyone,
My name is Ninesing Kharlor. Greeting from Shillong.
According to my point of view, regarding the topic of tobacco, I think it should have a proper measurement. So, we all know that smoking and consuming tobacco is injurious to health but still, lots of people consume it. Even when it's already written in the packet they refuse to see what will come out in the future but they are on their own satisfaction.
Even the government also give permission to a certain amount of companies as they paid to the government a huge amount of money. The outcome of the money that the tobacco company gave to the government is in the form of taxes. So with the help of the taxes that the tobacco companies gave to the government, the government itself used it for many purposes as to run for the whole of the development of the nation. So according to me, it should not be banned but it should have a proper measurement for the welfare of the community as a whole. And its up to the consumer how to consume and maintain their physical and mental health.
Thank you.

Hello, friends, I'm Vanaja.
Yes! it should be banned.
In my point of view, the tobacco causing many diseases to the people and the most important thing is the young ones are also getting addicted to this tobacco. This is responsible for causing many deaths. The Government should ban the tobacco for saving the many lives. Usually in our country tobacco users are more in no. Of males when compared to females. By saving one male life is equal to the saving of the whole that men's family. The government may lose the huge profits which are getting by tobacco, can face the problem with our Indian economy for a few months but it can definitely get rid of that problem in a few years. But tobacco banning is useful for decreasing poverty problem which, India is facing as one of the major problems in this time. The people who are completely addicted to tobacco can get rid of that habit by banning it and they can save their money by not spending their wages on this wasteful thing. So, the government should ban tobacco for saving many lives.
Thank you.

In my view, tabacco should not be banned because it helps in Indian economy, it is the problem of people who are addicted and knows the side effects of this but they consume it. We should educate the people's family they can understand the side effects of tabacco clearly and it is the possibility that family members can educate the addicted person and he or she understand his or her family's request.
I have a Psychological solution of this addiction government should do that if people are addicted to any unhealthy substances they won't be able to join any government job and government should take bill that any private compnay or institution or organization will check the people's history when they are joining organization so they will fear taking this substances if they don't fear from these rules than they will teach upcoming generations to not eat this substances and after he teach his next generation second generation will not eat tabacco or any substance it will come 5-10% people will consume these in place of 35-40%.

Tobacco isn't banned. What is happening?
Millions of people consuming it, getting addicted to it, damaging their body, increasing pressure on health sector, people of all age has easy access to it so might b there is no control over will of an indivisual and get influenced by their surroudings.
Suppose tobacco banned instantly what will happen?
Millions of people mostly farmers, the people earning by putting a stall beside the road and many others will loose their daily earnings, there will be a huge pressure on an indiviual and the government due to this job crisis, other than this the addicted consumers will try to find many ways to get it and there will be an increase in the black and illegal marketing, may b they shift to other drug products.
So, not banning tobacco is damaging the people every second and banning it will cause both huge merit and demerit impact. The way I think to curve it is first shifting major people from this sector to other, mass campaign of awareness and then ban the tobacco.

I would like to say that tobacco must be banned in India. Tobacco has become such a common addiction that every second home in India can find atleast one person addicted to it. India has recorded an increase in the number of tobacco consumers in the last 10 years, this has subsequently increased the number of cases of death due to lung and mouth cancer in India.
Such a death-selling product should be banned in India. Lack of awareness is the biggest reason why people are choosing to buy tobacco. The government should take major steps such as a tobacco ban, a fine on consumption and selling the products, as well as spreading awareness regarding how hazardous tobacco is to health throughout social media, banners, etc.
Tobacco consumers' ages vary from 5-50 years, which shows that each age group, from children to old people, is a prey to this dangerous and life-threatening product.
To save our future generations from buying their own death, we need to take a step to ban the tobacco.

Hello everyone, myself Sonu Kumar.
My Topic is : Is Tobacco is boon or ban?
Let us start with the topic.
I am in favour of the ban on Tobacco.
Let us explain why a ban on tobacco nowadays is necessary for society as well as youth.
The first point is Health hazards: The serious consequences which can occur from the inhale of tobacco is various diseases like lung cancer, skin disease, mouth cancer etc.
Economic impact: As well as the continuing tobacco which can greatly impact on economy, the tobacco owners are producing in larger firms but as the other side the people who were continuously consumed face hospital bills which are much larger it can largely affect them.
Addiction: The first thing, if tobacco is addiction tobacco, is just like a symptom of the flu, it fails as much faster in the environment. Nowadays the youth are easily addicted towards this.
So, I conclude my topic I would agree that tobacco is a necessary ban in India. Thank you.

Hello everyone.
I think tobacco must be banned as it is very hazardous to health. It causes cancer and so many diseases. Not only it affects to those who smoke, it also effects on surrounding people as well. Every year we heard so many cases of tobacco. It directly attacks on lungs thus it causes diseases related to respiration.
The main problem is tobacco is easily available in the market. Anyone can buy it. We need to make some strict reforms so that it won't be accessed by common people.
Teenagers think that it's a very cool thing and it will increase their swag but that's not true. It will increase the possibility of death or it will take us closer to death. They get easily affected by advertisements on TV. Generally, their favourite hero or cricketer advertise tobacco so they think they must try it so first we need to ban such type of ads.
At last, I would like to say if you want to stay healthy and want to live longer then say no to tobacco.

My self Rakesh.
I think tobacco must be banned, there are so many reason so many life spoil there life, many people get addicted as they can never leave that it very dangerous. I think this fact we already know, but I want to tell you new things when I say it must need to be banned. Many friends say after, no there is no need to banned because India gets more value tax from tobacco cigarettes if we make meaning of it tell our India to depend upon tobacco tax really? I don't understand in my opinion we no need for tax by this tobacco.
Because this money has no value. We need to think of our people not for GDP because I know GDP decrease but we can do something for that I am sure but many people have to think about this big problem. Guys, I hope you understand my point of view. Because we only invest money in advertising only like smoking is injuries to health it's a bloody sheet we are doing. We have to think about it.

Firstly, thanks for the wonderful opportunity to share my thoughts.
In my point of view, tobacco should be banned because of this tobacco many of them get new diseases and cancers. It leads to the destruction of the person. There is no use to take into our mouth. If one is addicted to this tobacco then it will never be left to that person. It's like a drug.
On the other side, many people's families depend on this and Many factories, but why do we invest that much money? If we invest much more amount on healthy food then we can improve people's health and develop India.
I raised a question to the government. Why do we use this type of product? If you don't know about this dangerous product. A person who is addicted to this tobacco can slowly be hit by cancer and after some time he may die. Then what about his family? Are you ready to take care of his family responsibilities? It destroys not a person but it affects their family too.
