Hello everyone.

Tobacco, It is mostly famous for its negative side that causes health issue due to consumption of it and also makes the people life harder without consuming it if they are addicted to but it is equally important to to discuss the postive side of tobacco before deciding on banning of tobacco, It is also known that it is used in most of the medical departments and sudden ban can results in addicted people life harder.

On the other side, the unemployment for the labour work in tobacco and the Black market for it will rapidly increase, which is hard to control.

Conclusion,
Rather than a complete ban, implementing awareness and adding more taxes on such goods can be helpful to limit.

Hello all,

In India, around 100 million people currently use tobacco, and approximately 45.7 million employees are involved in tobacco manufacturing and allied activities, including nearly 20 million farmers. This clearly indicates that tobacco use and production operate on a very large scale.

Due to this significant dependence, a sudden ban on tobacco may not be practical. Abrupt prohibition could have serious consequences for habitual users, including severe withdrawal effects and behavioural issues. Moreover, an immediate ban would negatively impact farmers and workers whose livelihoods depend on tobacco cultivation and manufacturing.

Therefore, instead of an instant ban, a gradual and phased reduction is a more effective approach. The first step should be to create strong awareness programs, especially targeting young people, to prevent new users from adopting tobacco habits. At the same time, the government should take responsibility for providing alternative employment opportunities and support systems for farmers and workers who rely on the tobacco industry.

By implementing these measures in parallel, India can realistically move toward the goal of a tobacco-free nation. This approach has already shown positive results. For example, in 2015, around 130 million people in India used tobacco, whereas the number has now reduced to approximately 100 million. This decline proves that, with sustained cooperation between the government and the public, India can eventually become a tobacco-free country.

Thank you.

No, Why ban it?

One no one sends you to take it, disclaimers are everywhere be4 you take it, it is one of the most taxed companies, workers need it to say soldiers and Askaris, it employs a number of people, it's a source of income to individuals among others. My opinion would be its consumption should be regulated but not banning it.

Thanks.

Hi this is Mansi Gusain,

Tobacco should not be banned because if it happens it will lead to the deaths of many consumers. It is on a person's needs and situation.
We can make people aware of its harmfulness but its in his/her own to stop or not. It makes people release stress just for some time but it does.
We should make it more of an inner potential to stop consumption.
Thank you.

Hello Friends;.

TOBACCO must be BANNED; in the point of my view, tobacco must be banned because we know that it is injured to health. If any people are addicted to tobacco then they do not get rid of it. Many people take tobacco only in fashion and after some time they addicted to it due to tobacco.

According to me, smoking and drinking is injures health. And we also see many ads about it. Some may follow and some may not. For this only solution is to stop producing it. So, I final point is to ban tobacco.

Hello friends.

Today we discuss tobacco must be banned in our country.

The means of taking tobacco are different like simply chewing by a cigarette. If it is taken in the oral form it causes harm his own health and he suffers from any disease like cancer or lungs related.

But if it is taken in smoking ways it also causes harm to his family health. When a person smoke. He addicted to this and often smoke before his family and smoke released by cigarette inhale by his family by air. So tobacco should be banned by our government. And this step of government helps in the healthy life of our citizen and making country.
