I think the reservation have to remove judge all according to marks ya if they passed exam fairly then gave scholarship and waiving their fees not reserved the seats because for that some talented and hard working students are not getting the chance and it not necessary that all lower cast are in a poverty line according to their income.

Education word comes from the Latin word "Educare". Which means to Draw Out. Now how many classes in our school are aiming at this meaning. Most of the classes we learn are putting a lot of stuff "IN" instead of drawing "OUT". As a change in system, we should have something like the traditional Gurukul system of India, where the education was holistic. Children lived at the ashram with the guru and learnt everything from breakfast to bed. Now it might not be practical in today's world to make children live in ashrams but its certainly feasible to understand the principles of the gurukul system and apply them today in some form.

Listing few activities of the gurukul system below.

1. Cooking, playing, martial arts, Cleaning the floors, (Physical well being).
2. Study of philosophy, language, history, science, maths etc. (Intellectual well being).
3. Respect to guru, elders and parents, friendship with equals and compassion/help to juniors (Emotional well being).
4. Arts, drama, music, cultural activities (Mental/social well being).
5. Meditation, Prayers, service to god and society (Spiritual well being).

If we look at these 5 points we might find only 1 or 2 is present in the current education system, so clearly it doesn't foster the holistic development of a student. And the student comes out half baked, confused and sometimes deprived of basic skills and values.

Our education system is not perfect because students are not learning the concept they are just mugging up the answer writing in the examinations. There are just studying to score marks but they are not gaining the knowledge. So I think government should take serious responsibility on this issue.

How to make the education system more practical? Teach the students how to use what they are studying in the real world.

Make the link between theoretical and practical means students should relate what they are studying to the surrounding environment. Also give students opportunities to use and develop skills means not only reading by-hearting and writing. Teachers can use more visual and physical activities and make lessons more exciting. Teachers can conduct discussion with students and test students understanding.

Educate in mother tongue so students can understand and communicate easily. This is natural and efficient method to learn. More private schools should teach students in mother tongue. They should not use English as a way to attract the customers to their business. How many parents are taking loans from the bank and sending children to private schools? Then after standard 10 students don't know English or mother tongue. But facilities are better in private schools.

Government needs to use money in the right way for the benefit of the students. They are providing food for students. Very good. Then good facilities should be in all schools also. If teachers are not attending classes they should get warning and if they still don't improve they should lose the job. Attract dedicated teachers. Dump the rest. Then only teaching standard will improve. Standard of textbooks are good but are only useful if the students get the textbooks at the start of the year. Why the students are getting textbook after the exam is done? Why? Fix these problems so students can study well.

Only countries that were colonialised are still trying to educate the youth in a foreign language. Developed countries around the world are educating youth in their own mother tongue. Ya we need to learn English also. Then improve the method of teaching languages. For example don't simply teach grammar or poetry. Focus on communication. Communicative English is more practical than English literature.

Also in developed countries people are getting good quality education for free. Even their plus 1 plus 2 is free. Why? Because most of their government schools are good standard. Why? One reason is they have more money per person. The other reason is they have fixed most of the problems. They also had problems in their government education system but they improved the system by dumping the people who don't do their job and attracting the right people.

But degree is costly there. India has many problems but I believe education can be the main solution. We should learn the right ideas from other countries not blindly ape them. Then only India can develop for everyone.

In my point of view, communication skill is the main issue that we face in india, The main problem is fluency when we talk to our clients or someone, so this will effect our future, may we have high marks but in the case of communicaion we will be down. To get a good job not only marks is criteria we need good communicatoion. So I think we must improve our communicaion skill from schools onwards.

Indian govt is spending only 3% of its GDP on education.

Whereas USA is spending 5.4% of its GDP, Brazil is spending 5.7% of its GDP and China invest heavily in its students and universities. In the Times higher education world reputation Rankings 2016, China could grab the ninth position in the top 100 universities list. So Indian govt needs to invest at least 4% of its GDP for the education

From my point of view, there must be a change in the education system. There are few points which I want to put under consideration:

1. First of all, there should be a more Practical curriculum in our syllabus. This is the major cause of lack of knowledge regarding the subject. There should be case studies in our syllabus.

2. There should be sports including in our curriculum. Sports brings mental freshness and students can focus on their studies better.

If in a school, there is the only study, then the students feel exhausted during the time of last lectures.

3. If sports are in our curriculum, then some students may choose it as their career.

4. Most of the syllabus of our subjects are outdated or old. Like, in Computer Engineering, we taught about old concepts.

The syllabus should be updated periodically.

5. Teachers need to use projectors, presentations or smart classes. I believe that the visual learning is far better than bookish study.

Yes, the education system must be seriously reformed. Instead of paying such high amount of fees in schools students are not getting the adequate and proper amount of knowledge required at a particular age.

We should give proper educate from the starting to till the end. So that students can easily qualify themselves for their further higher education without any obstacle.

Our coming generation has an immense amount of skills and potential but only because of poor education quality they are not able to show it off properly.

So only hoping for an improvement in our education system as soon as possible.

Thank you.
