The education system needs serious reform. The education system is all about marks. Just get the maximum marks and you will succeed. However, real life do not only work on knowledge. I agree that knowledge is important. But equally important is the skills to apply it to society and the country. And schools and colleges should also give priority to extracurricular activities. Schools should have sports clubs. The mental and physical well-being of a student is also crucial. The important point is to help a student by teaching him things like communication and creativity, which a book can't. It will truly help in advancing our society.

Good evening, everyone.

From my perspective, education today needs serious reform.
In the current generation, young professionals are getting opportunities at an early age based on their skills and experience rather than just their marks. If this is the reality, then why do the government and parents still force children to chase high percentages?

Many students sacrifice their childhood because of academic pressure. Instead of enjoying their leisure time, they attend extra classes and become book-oriented learners. This limits their exposure to real-life skills.

My point is that students should learn beyond bookish knowledge. Instead of focusing only on marks, we should encourage co-curricular activities such as debates, presentations, sports, and creative arts.

These activities improve communication skills, clarity of speech, and help students showcase their talent and creativity.

This indirectly helps them build confidence, self-esteem, and a positive attitude, which play a vital role in shaping a successful career, along with being educated.

Thank you.

I agreed with all points noted here. I thought education should be innovative and holistic. The education system should focus on the young generation for a better future. As unemployment happened it is because adults are confused. How will they deal with such things? If education gives clear guidance, helps them to think, and take a decision, then only it will work. As everyone is interested in academics. Some interesting sports, arts, drama, etc., so for every student, there should club or group to engage in those activities to create their future as they like. And in today's generation student have to teach subject value education, etc., but do you think that this is happening? It's because we were not parenting them to respect elder. So education should be holistic in every part of life to enable the younger generations to think innovatively, make decisions clearly and confidently. Thank you.
