Hello Friends.

I completely agree that till the time we are not able to do right things nothing will change. But I have a question for this particular context, Are we really able to solve every problem like this? First of all every individual has to think on that way whether it is a government or rich people or common people like us. I really don't deny that we are also responsible for this in a bit but if we common people stop involving into corruption then also this problem will not solve.

I wanted to say that our government is very slow in every implementation. Otherwise we are in a century where pizza delivers at right time in such a big traffic but government Work takes more than months sometimes a year which is very bad for a country like India when we really want our country to be a developed country. We are doing privatization for everything to make work fast. This clearly states that our government Is very slow in every context. We normal people need resources to live a comfortable life but how we will get the resources we should have money but if we want luxurious life then we have to earn more money. Let's take an example of a rich man, for that person money is not a big issue he needs comfort. He will take it by all the possible ways, In such cases corruption come into the picture. Everyone is inter-related to this issue, but I personally feel it's government who should take the responsibility of it and should take legal action to stop this. Everywhere corruption comes, if we are in the waiting list in the train reservation we want to confirm sheet that happens if we will give bribe to the Ticket Checker. To stop it then what we should not give money I agree but if in any case a person gives bribe that government Employee should not take that money. But it will not happen because no one is satisfied with his current situation and wants a comfortable life 24/7 which will come if that person will have a lot of money. So for more money you have to take left and right that left and right is only corruption.

This is the problem everybody has a mindset that if you have money they don't need to worry about it. People are becoming ruthless day by day they will only manipulate others for their benefits. I would say everyone has to come out of their comfort zone and deal with the situation rather than giving bribe or taking a bribe. But the question comes is that Ok we will not give but govt. The employee will do the work very slowly until the time their pockets is not full.

So, directly saying that public figure has to involve to stop a corruption is not exactly the solution. Everyone as a civilized citizen of the country should follow the rules and regulation made by the government. I would also say that government should take necessary action against such kind of corrupt employees. They have to eradicate such kind of corrupt employees. Common people are completely tired of the situation happens everyday in India especially old people. It's only common people who suffer a lot whether it's a demonetization or anything. Tell me the name of one rich person who died due to this demonetization. Government has been biased toward rich people and poor people. They have to take necessary action rather blaming normal people that they are also responsible for the corruption.

Thanks.

Everyone is talking how to eradicate corruption but none is actually working on it. Leaders they talk as if like after completing their speech in any meeting, they are going to take stringent actions against culprit but they do nothing. All their talking is only till their conference hall.

So what actually is needed to be done to make our country transparent and corruption free. First of all, deadline should be given to all political leaders and office bearers to show their income within a week and if they lag, tough actions should be taken against them. Let's not assume that only these people are involved in corruption, a traffic is also corrupt if he or she catches you violating traffic rules and then leaves you after taking some money. Those who are involved in manipulation of money are not only the one to be called as corrupt if someone is not doing his office duty on time, in spite of the scheduled time at 10 o'clock, if they are coming after two or three hours then this is also a sign of corruption.

There should be some independent body which should not be accountable to government, rather it should be accountable to all general people, should immediately be formed. There are news that several people transfer their money to someone else's account and deposit this large sum in Swiss bank their account should be properly checked and if found guilty all their money should be seized and used in public welfare programmes.

Strict actions should be taken especially against those bada babus working in government offices who never forward any of your bills without taking money. CCTV cameras should be installed everywhere, and they should also remain active 24-7 such that all activities of anyone can be checked if needed.

I think taking these measures we can reduce corruption level and make India great again.

Hi, This is Dhananjay.

As today topic is about, "Solution of corruption is a mirage till we catch top public figure".

I totally disagree with this statement. We can't say that corruption is here only because of top public figure & politicians. At each and every corner of India, we can see the live example of corruption.

Before pointing out to others, we should ask ourselves, that " Have I been a part of corruption "?

Knowingly or unknowingly, corruption is being encouraged. It can be restrained. We are the youth generation, we know the meaning of poverty, we know the value of food. Only we are the one who has the courage to weed out corruption.

For instance, if corruption is about politicians, then we were the persons who elected him. As a democratic country, we have the power to amend our mistake by using our democratic right. If its about top figure, then I will say, they are being appreciated by us. If we all will not support them, then we can break this word top - figure.

My main point is, everyone has to see the dream of a corruption free country. They have to believe that, it is possible. If each person will oppose some corruption activities which has been running around him/her, then we can imagine that, by unity, we can get a corruption free country.

"We have been taught that by unity we can do everything. ".

If we can recall our history, how we got independent? we can easily sense that A corruption free country is also possible.

The power of our country is " YOUTH ". By positive imagination & self-awareness, we can eradicate corruption.

Thank you.

Many people think that the corruption will reduce if the punishment is given to those who are doing corruption. The corruption is caused due to both giver and taker.

The corruption will be reduced when the competitiveness by converting government departments to public limited or privatized.

If you see the history of the telephone department there was a lot of corruption in the department when it was the government department.

One has to wait for years to get the connection. Even after getting the connection employees were demanding money for giving the connection. Also, there were cases the employees taking bribes and the bills were reduced for the customers by stopping their meters.

After the entry of private operators and the conversion of telephone department to public limited company everything has changed without any punishment to any employee. Now the corruption has almost nil in the BSNL. If you see the corruption in a department 80% of the employees will be taking the bribes. But the anti-corruption department will be catching only 1% of the corrupted people. So this was it is very difficult to stop corruption. Every department which linked to the public money should be privatized and the competitiveness should be brought in the departments just like BSNL.

Then the corruption will be automatically come down.

Hi Guys,

Actually, it is right to say that "Solution of corruption is a mirage till we catch top public figure" but till a particular scale. Because catching read handed all people is difficult but doing something in a short for all offenders is easy. Like making a useful law for a particular illegal activity, to band some ways and giving a tight security, deeply search on people's working etc. Searching the way actually corruption is nothing but lack of knowledge of the legal departments of the work environment where all illegal activities take place. Some people know about but they close their eyes for taking a bribe and some people have different-2 kinds of fear to do this, these kinds of things are there through which corruption occupies a huge place. India is a developing country where all people want to earn handsome money very fast and they do some bad activities which consider illegal. Earning money they forget about a healthy environment and they create an unhealthy environment for all. They use to do bad activities and depose them for others and other walking people become part of those illegal activities easily and that number keep increasing very fast in the place. So having a discernible attitude against the corruption is more important than catching top figure of public.

Thanks.

Corruption is a deep-rooted evil. At different stages of life, we are all part of the vicious cycle. However, if corruption can be eradicated from the top public figures and officials, to a great extent this can be restrained or removed from society. But as a common man, we need to believe in the digital system and try to do all transactions online. Today's youth can bring sea change by taking advantage of digital and social platforms in this regard. We can open a help center to guide people especially the poor to encourage online mode of data submission and payment instead of using middle person. At the grassroots level, if we can resist corruption, it will no longer be a mirage to eradicate the same from society. As an example, we can say about India where the corruption level has been checked and controlled due to the Modi Government's digitization and online vigilance.

Every society is divided into sections :the poor, the middle class and the upper class as per the income is concerned. The degree of actions of the people depend on which class they are belonging. Corruption is very deeply rooted in the society ranging from very low to very high level. Curbing the people involved in low level corruption would not help much in the betterment of society unless we catch the bigger fishes. The top public figures involved in corruption are like the brain of corruption. Once the brain is destroyed, the body cannot survive. But if we are involved in destroying the fingers, hands, legs etc it can rebuild itself. Hence I completely agree that corruption is a mirage till we catch top public figure.

Not only the politicians but we the common people are too responsible for corruption. We have become so lazy at everything that we always keep finding a shortcut for all things. For example, if you are late to work and break a signal and then traffic police catch you. In this case, 1st thing you will do is ask him how much money you want? Then recently during Ganesh Chaturthi when you are tired of standing in line you get the VIP tickets and encourage such people to make more money in the name of god. So the conclusion here is unless and until we change our thinking and stop doing these things till then the solution to corruption is just a mirage.

Not only politicians and rich people are responsible for corruption in our country, common people are also equally responsible for the same. Everybody in this country wants the shortcut for every work to be done, nobody wants to wait for something and the easiest way to get your work done quickly is to give bribe to the person who is the official of the same.

We all have to come forward with the resolution of neither giving or taking the bribe nor appreciating these things in our country. The only way to getting rid of this is the determination. Everything is possible in this universe but that needs strong determination and resolutions.

No, Corruption is not a mirage until we catch a top public figure. Where there is a problem there is always a solution. It's upon us to realise that and take actions. Firstly, if corrupt people are bribe takers then we the bribe givers. One needs to change himself before seeking a change in a macro level. People who don't have patience and wants to get their jobs done anyhow is the first person responsible for corruption, those who take illegal money use their power to make extra money. If we as citizens are aware then corruption will definitely decrease. So in conclusion, I would say if not totally it partly depends on us. Thank you.
