Hello.

Yes, we have to change the system which not even ours, our education system is gurukul system whereas this schooling system came from British they thought to make us pipets so that we shouldn't use the brain. The same thing we are doing not using our brain but using the books knowledge. The make thing that our country is suffering is they don't have the best books which can make students life better. They only have given something which schools should follow.

Because of this, our little children are facing many problems.

Hai.

In my opinion, it's not the education system to be changed but the thoughts and views of the people towards education should be changed.

Yes, I do agree that some improvements in our education should be done.

Many of them suggested that practical knowledge should be given more importance.

But in my view, both theory and practical knowledge should play an equal role because one cannot implement practical things without having a theory knowledge or without having their stong basics part.

And also education is not all about the theory or practical knowledge we gain.

It all about the moral values and ethics and disciplines. Which has to include in our life.

Only then we can give an exact meaning to our education that we gain.

Yeah, Absolutely we need to change because we see excessive competition in getting seats in government college but when it comes to government schools we see a large gap between these institutions because of lack of infrastructure, teachers, facilities in the school. So government need to take school to the same level compare to government colleges.

Education system definitely needs to be changed, Finland has the finest education system in the world, their students ranked highest in English reading comprehension, science and mathematics in PISA test among European countries. Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, south Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, China among other countries performing well. India sadly pulled out of international PISA test in 2015 and participated only in 2009.

School education system in India is highly theoretical with less practicals and group work and projects. Foreign countries stress more marks on practical work and project work and internships. Job related skills should be taught to increase employability. Industrial training and practical project work should be given importance. Also even in higher education students should be given the option to change streams in order to change careers. These options are more on US.

Our education system only focused on money. No one focuses on their study. Our parent and teachers expected only good marks. Nowadays education system giving theoretical knowledge no one provide practical. Knowledge. They only expecting marks from the student.

I think the Indian education system needs to change or reform it.

I believe the education system of our country is outdated, whatever we learn in our school or college is just about memorizing all the theory and vomit all the words in the examination, it happens because the teachers focus on the quantity of the answer and doesn't even read the inside material, so I strongly believe that the education systems should be changed and there should be more practical knowledge than theoretical.

Yes, we should change our education system by providing practical knowledge on the basis of student ability and We should divide student interesting side. So India's education system is good but We did not get proper practical knowledge. We Must require practical knowledge on high school level.

Hello everyone,

I think the present system of education in our country should be transformed, as we are only more into theoretical knowledge, and less concerned about extra-curricular activities. Indian parents are more concerned about their children being a professional degree holder, rather than being in sports, cine field, politics and other areas. In our school days, in a week 1-2 PT periods would be scheduled at the start of the year, and I am pretty sure that we would have hardly got 50% of those periods at the end of the academic year, as those periods will be taken for course completion from various subject teachers, then how can we expect our country to win more medals in Olympics, how can we excel and form a decent team in various sports? In our College life, we would have learnt various subjects related to our stream, but the most important thing for an interview, entrance tests is Aptitude, which I highly doubt that most colleges teach or train. Presently our country faces the problem of unemployment, which is caused by most of the youths who are forced into pursuing a professional degree unwillingly, maybe they could have been an expert in any other fields, on the other hand, who have a good professional knowledge migrate to foreign countries for more salary demands or due to unemployment and improve that country's economy, then how do you expect our country to develop economically?

Yes, Indian education system needs a lot of change. First of all, the syllabus should be updated, need for creating interesting & interactive learning environment. Backward categories should be given financial help for studies but mark concession & reservation of seats must be completely eliminated. This will never unite India & quality of education will be degraded only. Provide all necessary facilities to them before exams so that they study well & compete well. Providing them marks concession is like killing the talented & deserving students of our country. Give fair chances to all only on the basis of merit. Also there must be awareness about different courses & career options for the students. It is the combined responsibility of society & education system to shape the career of students as per their talent.
