Every body said 'yes' and most of them back up it by telling different reasons but if you ask me, we have to change our thinking. The way we think really matters a lot because in present scenario we see lot of people either going out of the country or not getting the deserving job. This all starts from the beginning.

We pose our dreams on the children and crush their dream and passion. We have to mold their talent and give wings to their dreams, that is the only way we can see them successful in their life. Now it comes to whether we have to change the present system of education of our country or not now it will be pretty clear. We have to change it because in our country we have this reservation concept which is being followed from the past and this the real reason for the bad condition of our education system. For example- JEE exam after 12th all might have wrote this exam to get into IIT and NIT there you might have found that people scoring more the 150 above are regected but for reserved people it is ok if they score atmost 30 (not sure with the cutoffs). Hence in India deserving candidates don't get the reward of hardwork.

Hi friends,

Many changes are to be applied in our country's education system these are as follows.

1) Extra curriculum activities should be given equal preference as academics because this will give respect and confidence to all the students who have some creative thinking.

2) we study the traditional knowledge of our science subjects that puts basics in our mind but these are meaningless without proper labs because science does not want bookworms but wants practical applications.

3) In our country, govt. Schools have poor infrastructure, poor facilities, even some have poor teaching faculty due to the neglect of our govt that meal nourishes the talent of poor students because poor students can't afford a high fee of private schools.

4) there is competition by private schools to get merits in 12th board due to which they skip concepts of 11 th class and start 12 th syllabus in 11 th class that make students unable to crack IIT exams so it should be made compulsory to count both 11th and 12th marks in college selection list and merit system of board should be removed.

5) govt should be strict for practical exams.

Thanks.

No, this education system was developed purposely by Britishers to spoil Indians and to make them slaves to their system and only for their benefits mystic services did they make this. Read history guys you will get to know. It is around 200 years old now.

They destroyed the Indian Gurukul education system was the backbone of India and they introduced this British Education system by Lord Macaulay, you can even google if you don't believe me.

"I have travelled across the length and breadth of India and I have not seen one person who is a beggar, who is a thief such wealth I have seen in this country, such high moral values, people of such calibre, that I do not think we would ever conquer this country, unless we break the very backbone of this nation, which is her spiritual and cultural heritage and therefore, I propose that we replace her old and ancient education system, her culture, for if the Indians think that all that is foreign and English is good and greater than their own, they will lose their self-esteem, their native culture and they will become what we want them, a truly dominated nation".

Hello everyone.

So, I think in my opinion we can change the current education system in our country and we should do this because you see now we are moving towards online generation, we are going in that time where students prefer to study online and they want more practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge.

And if I talk about our current education system in which we are teaching students mainly in a theoretical manner and you see beating students if they are not performing any act of something though it is not very common nowadays and teachers are using their traditional approach of like teaching with the help of physical book and on a blackboard or something.

I think in today's time students wants some things different method of studies like teaching in online, with the help of smart board, with the help of online application. See it is also important for us to adopt AI in our education system because I think in future it play a very important role in transforming the education system.

So think we need to change our current and traditional education system.

Our brought up has been such that we see study as a source of earning and not learning, we are not taught to learn we are only taught how to earn. Till now the evaluation of a child is made on the basis of a scorecard and not on his/her understandings ability. Although an education system should be dynamic enough to synchronize itself with the needs of the day but at the same time, it should b strong enough to keep a hold on our culture, traditions from eroding away with the waves of western culture. Enabling a child to stand on his foot after having some kind of formal education is the need of the hour. Sadly in India, graduates in science & technology are running a dogs race even for daily wage earners. Govt focuses on quantity and not quality. Govt is mindlessly admitting students into various high-level courses without any supervision. Making higher education free is only benefitting the colleges. Students enrol because it's better rather than being idle at home. This is not only affecting education standards but also posing a huge burden on govt for no good.

Yes, definitely we should think about the current education system of our country because nowadays the most educational institutions are all about the money making. They only teach to secure more and more marks in any kind of examination but they never teach to implement those things in the real world. Because of lack of practical knowledge the most students are unaware to use their skills and innovative thinking. In rural areas the middle-class family and the below poverty line people can't afford the money for private institutions and the teacher of government schools are not much interested to deliver a good knowledge among the students and also the students are not willing to study there because of lack of teaching style and disciplines.

Finally, I would like to add a point that first of all we have to aware about the syllabus according to the current situation and include some practical things as well as some extra curricular activities as per the student requirements and their interest.

Hello everyone, A very good morning to all of you.

This is Ajay Kumar, Today my topic is "should we change the present system of education in our country".

I think in my point of view, it needs to be improved rather than changed, as we all know that India is a country.

Of the vast population and for the betterment of our education system in such a large population we all have to study.

Smartly, efficiently and regularly and if all this thing is corrected by ourselves in the school, colleges and in all.

The education center then we find that we are getting improving ourselves day by day. And also in some cases.

We get theoretical knowledge lots but we didn't get much practical knowledge as much as required which is essential for us and for the development of skill and knowledge. Ex - in many engineering colleges they taught us the theoretical part.

But I didn't more focus on practical knowledge, so, I think it needs to be corrected.

Thank you very much for reading my opinion.

Hello,

According to me, we have to change the present system of education in our country because nowadays school are doing business of earning money. They just don't care who is really success. The student scoring 99 marks don't get seats in available college but they are stopped because the student scoring less marks get admissions because of money.

The most important part parents teachers have to focus on how much their child is gaining the knowledge but not stress the child by telling him or her to get full marks and to top the class or college. In this way children mug up the topics but don't understand what's the actual meaning they don't know. This mugging up will help in topping the class or college but will not help in future in jobs because jobs needs creativity, practical knowledge not the theoretical knowledge. So in my opinion the more advanced technology must be brought in India to just lesser down the burden of books and increasing the practical knowledge.

Hello everyone, this is Sasikumar today we are here to discuss about the education system which we followed, the current education system is good but especially in government schools and even colleges the education may poor then actual, the system doesn't teaches how to be an a socialized person. And also we didn't know that the school syllabus is a fundamental for every higher studies, so we must concentrate the school studies, I wish that the implementation of exceed system which only having a practical based (outcome based) education system, but no government schools follows that system, even in a government colleges the professors doesn't concentrate about their work instead of this they are developing them selves by means of their own projects, because I am a engineering student from a government college and I personally experiences what I describe in above text, please try to make changes in our education system as well as colleges, schools.

Good day everyone.

Well when it comes to education, India has not changed its viewpoint and still continues to consider that Mark's, percentage, grades are the only outcome of true learning.

Western education was introduced here during colonial times. And In those days the ones how were well educated joined higher jobs whereas the ones who did bad joined in black collar jobs or became soldiers.

As money was and is. The only source for a good position in society. The idea of "scoring =learning " didn't change.

Now what MUST be changed is our perception of understanding what 'learning' is.

And the system of teaching must change in a way where the students inner talent is recognized as well as his/her field of interest must be taken into consideration and accordingly they should be taught in such a way that they can stand on their feet and contribute their skills and experience to the development of our society.

Well, this is my view.

Thanks.
