Should we change the present system of education in our country?

A good education system keeps the foundation of prosperity and success for the country. If a country wants to be independent and economically well then it needs to check the education system.

- There is a need for more innovation in the education system.
- More advanced technologies should be used in this sector in order to compete with other countries.
- More and more amendments should be done to make students more physically fit and mentally strong.
- Schools and institutes should focus more on the development of an individual.
- Schools and institutes with education should teach values and manners.

Education is the most powerful weapon which we can use to change the world.

Indeed we need to change our present education system. If we take a look at the education system of our country and abroad country than there is a vast difference between them. We are still carrying a books n pens for jotting down the notes n equivalents but in foreign country, even the students in schools are carrying the laptop for jotting down the points n notes. This not only helps them to note down the points but also help them to become familiar with technology. On the other hand even many some of our college students don't know how to operate computers than what could we expect from our school students. Also, our education system is more of theoretical rather than practical. We are still reading those books which have been written by someone else long years back. We are reading others views, opinions, beliefs etc. And following them. I think our education system should be more practical rather than theoretical because what people learn in their teenage are going to apply in their future years which in turn going to decide the future of our country. Therefore it is important to provide quality education to people because education is the only source which forms the foundation and base for the progress of a country.

Government providing good facilities for the students, but we people used to prefer corporate schools for our children.

Even government teachers sending their children to corporate schools.

There should be an act in India, which states that every government employee should join their children in government schools and colleges to overcome this problem.

In my point of view, the present system of education is based on theoretical. This is only for gain more marks in exam rather than skill.

There is two reasons we should change the present system of education.

1. Student interest.
2. Syllabus.

Firstly we discuss the first reason, the mind set of people should be changed from grade based on skill based. In India, many families forced their children to take science, engineering side. If he got good marks.

Second is a syllabus, as well as theoretical knowledge, practical knowledge is also important. Without practical knowledge, we don't know what happens in the actual world. Thank you.

Yes, we should change our study method and learning methods. Practically is better than theoretically, if we focused on practically than our remember strength getting more higher and our thoughts also. And that helps us to learn anything easily and understand what teacher want to teach. We are very theoretical this thing should be changed.

Hello friends in my view, I think the current education system is not up to the mark the system only stresses on theoretical knowledge and not on practical one whereas in western countries they stress more on practical education which leads to innovation flow of new technology development etc that does not mean that we should completely opt for practical knowledge but I think after studying 13-14 years in pre-nursery & higher secondary at least we should stress on practical knowledge. Are we only going to discuss all this rather doing something or taking action on this ?

Has anyone got any idea how all this will reach to the place where it should be or to the person who should see all of this?

Instead of changing the education system, I suggest modifying or updating the methodology of teaching should be the step.

Yes, definitely we should think about the current education system of our country because nowadays the most educational institutions are all about the money making. They only teach to secure more and more marks in any kind of examination but they never teach to implement those things in the real world. Because of lack of practical knowledge the most students are unaware to use their skills and innovative thinking. In rural areas the middle-class family and the below poverty line people can't afford the money for private institutions and the teacher of government schools are not much interested to deliver a good knowledge among the students and also the students are not willing to study there because of lack of teaching style and disciplines.

Finally, I would like to add a point that first of all we have to aware about the syllabus according to the current situation and include some practical things as well as some extra curricular activities as per the student requirements and their interest.
