In my opinion, smoking must be banned completely because every year a lot of people are dying because of smoking. According to doctors if you are in a group of smokers, you have 20% chances of suffering from passive cancer even if you do not smoke. So smoking has become a serious problem for those people also who do not smoke but live in the vicinity of smokers. Smoking in the society also motivates to the younger generation who are unaware of its repercussions.

In my opinion, smoking should not be banned completely because all the consumers are aware of the consequences of smoking as it is clearly written on the packet that "SMOKING CAUSES CANCER", so no one is hiding anything about its results. It is right of the consumer to choose whether to buy it or not. We cannot force them to quit smoking because we do not like it.

To reduce its effect on other person who are not smoking, government has already imposed several laws that restrict smoking in public places. I think those who are less than 18 and unaware about the consequences of smoking, should not be allowed to smoke.

As we know that each coin has two sides heads and tales or good or bad. But smoking, drinking has only bad signatures everywhere. Aged people and also nowadays youths and are also preferring these types of addictions as a there daily routine which is not only harmful to them but also the other people residing in their surrounding. These type of addictions spoils their life career and also with them their families suffer a lot. Youths think that this is something very thrilling that I am doing but sincerely I want to request them that please don't go for this. We have lot more good things to do and develop in our life. This also can cause heart and lung diseases in future so yes I think that smoking must be banned completely.

Banning is not a solution as we know smoking habits get developed throughout several years and can't be corrected in an overnight decision of the government, many people are addicted to it. Instead, an alternative should be thought of which should be less harmful and easily available in the market. And steps should be taken to curb smoking habits in the children at a young age.

Advertisements by superstars should be banned. Awareness campaigns in schools and colleges can contribute.

Smoking is really injurious to health. I agree but somehow at some point, I might not agree with the decision of banning cigarettes completely.

The ban on cigarettes may lead to black marketing of the product as there are millions of smokers throughout the world and the habit of smoking cannot be changed rapidly.

The economy will also be hampered as the government taxes will diminish due to the downfall of the cigarette companies.

Thus to conclude, rather than taking a decision to ban cigarettes, it is better to innovate some new technique for smoking without having the side effects.

Yes, the smoking should be banned, because we find it as a nuisance in the pavements when we walk when that particular person smokes it causes the environment around him as nasty. When it is banned at least a huge amount of group gets reduced to less and the smoking is really bad to health it can't be understood by people who smoke if there is a ban at least they will have a concern not to smoke in the public and disturb others.
