First of all, as you all know smoking is injurious to health, It may lead to lung cancer and many other diseases.
It not only affects the person who smokes but more than the person who surrounded around the smoking person. So yes smoking should be banned completely but slowly not instantly because so many are addicted to smoke. So if we instantly banned smoking they use another thing to fulfill their needs. And the most important thing banned completely means banned in all ways that no any single piece of cigarette should be sold in an illegal way. As we all know in India, anything that is banned, it is being sold in somewhere in an illegal way. So government has to take proper action against this if any.

Yes. It is a great bane to the society. Inspire of the views provided by members that it provides employment and c plus, the government need look at food and health and c, even so, these things take away the main income and revenue of the people, the society and people employed only contribute to an unwholesome livelihood which will bring bad results soon. Halting the manufacturemanufacture and sale plus import of all smoke related products plus encourage people to finding and following wholesome ways and practising meditation is the wise way.

Yes it should be banned, most of the People treated the smoking habit is a fashion in present society. Including the school children also showing the excitement about this. Every time we have seen the statement "smoking is injurious to health" before we are going to watch a movie in theatre. But still we can never see a change in the people. So, I suggest the government to bring some laws towards it that means collecting the penalties from the people those who are encouraging this activity.

Let me start with an example of ITC limited.
The 80% of the production of cigarettes by ITC is sold in India while only 20% is exported. Revenue of the company used to be the only source until it diverse into another business.
The profit from this sector was so huge that the company sustained 110 years and employment generation capabilities and farmers in the Gujarat charotar region has been famous for this the golden leaf.
So until you find some alternative to this it would be harmful to economy and industry. Where not only the smoker will be affected but also non-smoker.

Not instantly.
Nowadays, young generation including school college students, to smoke feel as a fashion style. Many of them have not addicted but for style they do.
First we have to ban films, advertisements that focus on consumption of tobacco.
Aware people about health consciousness.
Banning is not correct step, we have to divert their mindset.

Hellow everyone!
I'm in the favour of smoking should be banned. It affects the new generation because they think that smoking is the fashion nowadays. We have to aware students and childrens that smoking is injurious to health. It may create heart problems may affect lever and emiune system. Parents should aware their children about the harmful affects of smoking like lung cancer and cancers. Smoking affects the cigarette user but also of the nearby people. Smoking should be banned in India by the government. The government should work with social workers to decrease the rate of consumers of cigarettes by the distribution of nicotine by any means.

Smoking should not be banned in India. Lot of people getting employment by smoking manufacture companies if government banned smoking lot of people become unemployed. More over government is getting huge revenue by this, once government banned smoking Indian economy will get imbalance this will cause a huge damage to the government by this every individual will have to suffer instead of banning smoking government should give the awareness to the people by consuming smoking how much damage your body getting how people suffer by Illness by preparing some documentary films. If no consumer is buying then gradually the seller stop selling by this way we can ban the smoking.

There is no government powerful or brave enough to ban smoking completely as a big percentage of user and the big income that they expect from taxes on cigarettes. But in public it should be banned as many countries are implementing.
