Should Smoking be Banned Completely?

To my mind tobacco should be ban in India because it is very injurious to health many people take it very high amount and some takes for relief and enjoyment.

It is said that addiction to anything is very dangerous.

But it should not be totally banned because many people who work in the Tobacco industry and company if tobacco totally banned it increase unemployment.

The topic itself speaks about a filthy means of lifestyle wich we see around SMOKING.

Smoking Kills, a cigarette packet itself contains the bold letters signifying the after effects of smoking Does this really matter? still people go on their way to boost it along the whole life killing themselves.

It should be banned, that's right If we find the reason behind a smoking habitat emerging nowadays in the life of a workaholic chap its a stress reliever for him.

But it's ridiculous to come across youths who take it as a changing pace from a Boy to a Man reborn with this piece of poison.

The smoking population graph itself shows the increasing rate of smokers in between the age of 12-Adult the maximum consumers are youth which has resulted in fatal death, causing cancers to different parts of the body.

If it continues soon we will be losing the youthful crowd of India who are the next inspiring generation and ones who will lead a bright future.

I think smoking should not be Banned completely but it should be banned at public places. In India had not a strict rule to smoke in a public place! it must be an amendment on bill & strictly prohibited to smoke in public places.

Following some point are consider by carefully:

1) Because many of people can't afford without smoking so it should not be banned completely.
2) if the government completely banned to smoking then many of employees will joblessness.
3) For attention: the government must require to a seminar regarding on smoking and their harmful effect etc.

It is a human nature & a human being is independent doing something. We can't stop it.

No, smoking should not be banned but a rule should be made by govt that only a certain point of cigarettes will be Sold by retailers, in this way some point of smoking will decrease. And smoking is not only reason for cancer, there are so many people I have seen who are not smoking or drinking still they are caught by cancer which is very unusual and in the pvt sector the work pressure is very much, so to reduce stress people are smoking, which is not bad, banning cigarettes is not a solution, instead it should lessen. Yes it should be banned, most of the People treated the smoking habit is a fashion in present society. Including the school children also showing the excitement about this. Every time we have seen the statement "smoking is injurious to health" before we are going to watch a movie in theatre. But still we can never see a change in the people. Yes, the smoking should be banned, because we find it as a nuisance in the pavements when we walk when that particular person smokes it causes the environment around him as nasty. 1. Only the age group of 30 should come to buy cigarette in a shop and if any child or teenager come the shopkeeper should inform the cops and cops should inform their parents.
