Hello everyone,
We are insulting our country by playing national anthem in cinemas as our friends explained above clearly that all in cinema hall might not be attention, some may be drunked.
Coming to cinema hall sense to enjoy oneself. There made a no sense at all play NA in halls. For eg: why not play the NA in wine shops and expect respect from drunkers.
Instead of respect, our country all will hate if disturbed in personal life. Like that in cinema hall everyone comes for enjoying the movie but by thinking the national anthem before movie, maximum will get irritated why because it's not for one time, it is for every time when we go theaters.
So, Gov itself makes citizens hate their respected national song. Jai Hind.

1) Yes, obviously the national anthem should play in cinema halls before screening because it is one of the ways to show our patriotism.
2) If somebody says no the national anthem will not play in cinema halls because the cinema hall is only for enjoyment means "The stadiums are also only for enjoyment why is the national anthem played before the match?".
3) According to the supreme court of India in 2016 under the bench Justices Honourable Dipak Misra and Amitava Roy, declare that every cinema halls were to play the national anthem before the screening.
4) So, there are no any problems and issues created while playing the national anthem in cinema halls and it's our duty to pay respect to our nation and our soldiers.

HELLO EVERYONE,
You all gave the wonderful points pertaining to the topic.
But I would like to share my point that National anthem should be played in the cinema halls because we must respect those armed officers who have lost their lives in the wars for saving our nation. In a cinema hall, there are various people sitting in the hall from various communities it is very necessary to unite them with the medium of patriotism so there is nothing bad in playing the national anthem in cinema.
But on the other side it should not be played under the roof where people used to spit eat romance abuses or undue body language.
We have paid a lot for Our national anthem.
It should be played where the respect and honour occurs.

Yes! National anthem should be played in cinema halls because why not? If we can warm our seats for 2-3hrs just for a movie then why can't we stand and respect our national anthem just for 2mins. Every individual should respect their country and other countries aswell. We should be proud of our country. Cant we even stand for 2mins to respect our national anthem? Think about the soldiers, don't they have a life? Why do they risk their life? Soldiers stand day and night to protect our nation. If we cannot do that then atleast we should respect them by respecting our national anthem. Yes it should be played in cinema halls to inculcate the value of patriotism in everyone. Love your country, Respect your country.

Hello there. I think that playing National anthem in cinema Halls is not a bad thing. The. Anthem is for the nation and it depends on the perceiving nature of human to interpret the meaning. Whenever I am in cinema hall to watch a movie, the national anthem reminds me that, " Boy you are safe. We the soilders are protecting you. " This thought makes me happy and thankful to at least stand up and pay a heart respect to the angels protecting our nation and there is nothing wrong by doing this.
One more thing I would like to add is that barely after our schooling we have heard national anthem every day. What was your last time you heard the National anthem. Maybe the answer will be in a " CINEMA HALL" only.

Hi friends,
According to my opinion, it is a good decision of the supreme court that national Anthem is necessary to play in cinema halls. I respect that orders.
My dear friends, we can be spent out 2 to 3 hours time for watching the movie then what will be gone to give 2 mint for the national anthem.
My friends, the national anthem has a huge respect and instead of cinema halls, no one place will be the correct place for same.
Because in the cinemas every type of the human being come for watch the movie.
So in my thoughts the person who Don't give the respect of same, they also will give the respect to national anthem when they watch to giving the respect by another one. Thanks to all the reader.

Hello friends, Some of my friends are saying that national anthem should be played it's a way to show our patriotism towards our country. Is it? My opinion is that to feel patriotic I don't need to listen to the anthem and if it is in theatre than of course not. Because in theatre there are many people who don't stand up during the anthem. So it's a disrespect of our anthem. Soldiers and freedom fighters redom their responsibility properly. And for respecting them there is some particular day. Now it's our turn to redom our responsibility for our nation, not only by listening anthem but also to complete our duty. In theatres, Govt should aware about 'Clean India' or on many other things.
Thank you.
Thank you.

We Indians shows our respect for the country by singing "National Anthem". But I don't think so cinema halls are the right place to be played. The only reason to watch movies in cinema halls is entertainment. Then what will be the motive behind playing "National Anthem" before "B grade" movies like "Dirty picture"? If you really want to show you respect for the nation than do social work, respect women, elders. Motivate people to join in Social events. Follow your social responsibility. There are so many people out there who don't even stand for the national anthem, but still, follow their responsibility for the nation. So, it should not be compulsory to stand in Cinema halls to show your respect.

A cinema hall is primarily a place for entertainment, not a civic or ceremonial venue. Forcing people to stand for the anthem in such a context can feel artificial or even coercive. Patriotism is meaningful when it’s voluntary, not when it’s performed under social pressure. Also, disrespect can happen unintentionally — people may talk, eat popcorn, or arrive late, which can trivialize the anthem.
A better idea might be to keep the national anthem for more appropriate contexts: national events, schools, government ceremonies, sports matches, places where the mood naturally aligns with collective respect. In a cinema, people should be free to watch a film without being tested for patriotism.

Why not? We all are INDIANS. Can't we show some Respect to our National identity for barely 52 seconds. Peoples who says that we should not play National athem in cinema halls, as it is a place for entertainment and all other stuff. Let me clarify, you all can stand for hours and hours in the cricket matches to boost up your favorite cricketer, to show your nationalism mostly when it is in between us and pakistan. So can't you stanfd for a minute, whats the problem in this, you are not paining your mood is not changing if you are standing for a minute, so stop behaving like a childrens and have some respect for the national identiy our National anthem and our national flag.
