National Anthem and Patriotism go hand-in-hand. It doesn't matter where it is played or what is the occasion if you hear National Anthem Stand-up give your respect. Now we all know India is a democratic country where people can have their own opinion and they all have free to do whatever they want. Now if someone in Cinema Hall is not standing up, you do not need to make them understand that they should stand-up respect National Anthem, they will stand on their own. One of the main reason National Anthem is Played in Cinema Hall is after our completion of High School we do not hear National Anthem on regular basis or played everyday in our neighbour so to keep the feeling of our Nationality inside us National Anthem is played and it is such a lovely song which will make you feel great. So just play along no one will charge GST from you to hear and stand for a Minute for National Anthem.

He friends,

I was just wondering that many of you have said that it shouldn't be played because after that we are just going to disrespect it by breaking traffic signals, doing bad things etc, but what if look at the different view point. You are just going to do something wrong and it strikes uh that uh have just sung the national anthem uh may step back, but if it is not played uh will only get to hear on national days, these 52 seconds may prevent you from doing something wrong. Just look into it.

Than you.

Good morning everyone, My name is Aritra Majumdar.

I feel that there shouldn't be a law that forces people to stand up for about a minute in the cinema hall before the movie is shown.

Because patriotism is something that should come from within.

Simply by standing up, it is no mark of respect for the motherland.

Also, we can't mock or jeer at people who are not standing up during the national anthem and call them traitors and other bad names without any actual justification.

In my opinion, YES, national anthem should be played in cinema hall because most of the people get patriotic feelings only on republic day and independence day. Patriotism should be within our heart but it should be experienced practically. If we can watch a 3hr film can not we stand for 50 seconds? We should because if a soldier can stand for 24 hrs to protect our country we can stand for 52 seconds in cinema hall because it ignites patriotism feeling inside us nd shows prosperity and equality among the people of country.

Hello everyone.

I am Amit Aryan and in my opinion, I think there should be certain steps taken before implementing such rules and regulations.

Article 51 (A) of our constitution says that it is duty of every citizen of India to respect and abide by the cultur, tradition and honour of India. And when we say duty, it implies that it should voluntarily done by every citizen, not should be forced or imposed upon them.

But we can give them a chance to do their duty.

And that's why, I think national anthem must be played in the cinema hall to give citizens a sense of nationality, patriotism in them. But it should also be left to them whether they want to give respect or not. Just like, we get scheduled timing for movie screening, same way timing should be there for national anthem as well like exactly 5 mint. Before screening of the movie. So that, people can adjust according to that, they want to attain national anthem or not. If not, they can come after that scheduled time.

This way, patriotism wouldn't be forced in someone and also those who want such feelings to be evoked on such certain events can also get it in them.

I am afraid but I completely disagree with the idea of playing the national anthem before the screening of the movie. Actually, we have certain rules and principles to play national anthem with certain situations. The sense of patriotism comes naturally to a responsible citizen but it does not happen by force. Moreover, it played to create the sense of unity and integrity among people. It is played when we need to feel that we are united among many Diversities, such as playing national cricket team against opponents or participating our soldier any different global Initiative for peace and prosperity. While we play national anthem we should pay the respect. I don't think it is not appropriate to play anthem while we are watching a movie, which is really a commercial purpose of certain groups. What is the value of playing national anthem while the film is filled with romance, vulgarity and murder. Does not it disrespect our national anthem?

According to my perspective.

National anthem should be played in cinema halls. Those leaders who have fought their entire life for our nation for independence. Nowadays as we all know our youth is 60percent out of 100 percent now a days youth often visit to cinema halls ithink it a good step to show patriotism. It bring us unity integrity brotherhood among the people. So, many people are saying it is not right place those people I want to say I think they do not belong to India. It hardly take 52 seconds. National anthem should be played India forever.

Jai Hind.

Jai Bharat Mata.

Hi everyone. Before I start speaking about the topic I want to ask some questions?

Don't you people think we Indians are very proud of our National Anthem?

Don't you think a cinema hall is just a place where we people just go to refresh ourselves enjoy with our friends or girlfriends or family?

Don't you people think that our National Anthem is very pious that playing it in cinemas should not be right.

Yes, ofcourse we all are Indian and we all are patriotic it doesn't mean that for sake of show off only it should be played in cinemas. No one here told that whenever our Brave soldiers are martyered, there sacrifice should be shown in theatre for one minute atleast to give them shradhanjali. But some politicians said that National Anthem should be played in cinema and to show off our patriotism we are agreeing to them. But we don't know that they are doing politics over National Anthem and they say they are patriotic. Before implementing it into theatres no one have the doubt whether we are patriotic or not. I will say don't go with these politicians ask your heart that on our national events, school assemblies and on other national issues like sports it should be played. But it is not right to play it in places like cinema halls. Or else someday they will say that it should be played in red light areas also because there also all are Indians.

Thank you.

I don't think that playing national anthem in Cinema hall will give the certificate of patriotism. We know that our national anthem has respect. Playing national anthem in a cinema hall isn't suitable as it is an entertaining palace but our national anthem isn't an entertainment.

Cinema hall contains various types of films, no doubt some films are civilized but some contain vulgarities. Is that such palace where we want to listen our national anthem?
