According to me, National Anthem must be played in theatres. It is the need of the hour for today's generation and for all. We all are so much busy in our day to day life as nobody has time to pay homage to our soldiers who have sacrificed their lives for us. The theatre is a good platform to express and show our love and respect towards our own country by just standing for 52 Seconds listening to the National Anthem After all we are Indians it's our national and fundamental duty to pay honour to the country.

Supreme court announced that all the cinema halls across the country should play National Anthem before starting films. I believe patriotism comes out of love and respect for one's nation. We cannot force fed to anyone just by making them stand up while playing the national anthem before starting movies. Imagine National Anthem, the most sacred tune is played before the movie with double meaning jokes and vulgar comments Udta punjab, Grand Masti. I don't believe it should be played before movies in theatres.

National anthem must not be played in cinema halls because the main point is that national anthem must not be played under roof. If the national anthem doesn't get respect by the people in hall it will be ashamed for us if the foreigners see it. If it is played before any vulgar movie it mean of disrespecting anthem. And court passed if anyone doesn't follow the rule of standing there are forced to get punished it mean the court know they will not as anthem is patriotic song we have to respect heartfully.

According to me, the national anthem should be played in cinema halls. I don't understand why it should not play. People say that patriotism and love for the nation is in the heart. It will true but why are you not express it when you get the opportunity through a song. According to me, until you will not express your love for anything or anyone, no one can understand your feelings. So why are we hesitate to express this feeling? We should pride in that and appreciate such type of things.

Hello everyone, As my friends cleared their feelings towards the country I respect that and should be. I myself respect Indian flag and I have a strong patriotic feeling for my country but it doesn't ask me to come out from comfort zone to anthem mode. All you need to do is don't favor corruption, help those who are in trouble and you have devoted yourself to the country. So, in my opinion, national anthem should not be played in cinema Halls just do your national duties for the country.

In my point of view, it is a good step taken by our Government. Because after our school and college days we people forget about our national anthem and it is a good thing to hear again in the cinema hall. I don't know why people saying that it is an irritated one, I have one question. You people spend three hours to watch a movie but before that why you are not ready to spend 1min for our national anthem. I think it is our responsibility too.
So in my point of view, it is a good thing.

Hi everyone.
I would like to say that playing national anthem should not be enforced in cinema halls.
That's because, People go to cinema hall for entertainment, And standing for national anthem does not prove Patriotism. True patriotism is serving the country, if that cannot be done then provide better financial, social support for soldiers who are sacrificing their lives for us. Even a corrupt politician can stand for the national anthem.
Show true patriotism by serving our country.

I am totally against playing national anthem in cinema halls. Cinema halls are not the place where we have to show our feelings nd respect towards our country. Respect should come from heart and as well respect and love come in a place where we feel the spark of patriotism. Playing national anthem in cinema halls carry no sense. Cinema halls are the place where people come to spend time and have some fun with there friends and family but not to show the feeling of harmony and integrity.

I feel no. Respect should come from your heart and it shouldn't be forced. It will indirectly cause more disrespect to the national anthem. Also, there is a code of singing National Anthem, which we used to follow in schools that National Anthem shouldn't be sing under a roof. And this decision of supreme court breaches that law. In all I would like to say, Idia is an independent country and they shall be provided respecting their country whenever they feel from the heart. Thank you.

As per me playing the national anthem before movie should not create any problem to viewers because if they can give their 3 hours to a movie then they can also give 52 seconds for nation's integrity. But if we look from general perspective then one question would always be there that why it becomes mandatory to play the national anthem at places where people are far -far away from the feeling of patriotism. This method shows that Indians do not have any feeling toward their nation.
