Should national anthem be played in cinema halls?

I think we shouldn't play the national anthem in cinema hall's because it is an entertainment thing. So I don't want to play the national anthem in cinema halls.

And I know playing the national anthem in every where like school, colleges any assemblies, is expressing towards the love of our country.

I don't want to mention this every where, and every time.

I think we should prove we do other things to tell how much love was given the country.

Many people are answering saying 2 minutes of national anthem wouldn't harm. True. But the discussion is not that. I am sure no one has a trouble standing up for a few minutes but it's baseless to play national anthem in a movie hall. National anthem being played at international sports meets, national holidays or schools or the other places, is fine. How come singing the national anthem before a movie instill patriotism in someone? We all get engrossed in the movie, go out and forget about it. This is not how we can show our nationalism. There are other nationalist things that we can do as an individual to feel proud and love for our country.

Whenever, I hear it, I feel so proud and I stand there where I have been. I think nothing will stop us to stand only for a minute and pay our due respects. Yes, I accept that cinemas are only for entertainment, but surely that doesn't stop us.

Why not? We all are INDIANS. Can't we show some Respect to our National identity for barely 52 seconds. Peoples who says that we should not play National athem in cinema halls, as it is a place for entertainment and all other stuff. Let me clarify, you all can stand for hours and hours in the cricket matches to boost up your favorite cricketer, to show your nationalism mostly when it is in between us and pakistan. So can't you stanfd for a minute, whats the problem in this, you are not paining your mood is not changing if you are standing for a minute, so stop behaving like a childrens and have some respect for the national identiy our National anthem and our national flag.

I think the NATIONAL ANTHEM is the pride of our country and as well as the pride of those people who are genuinely respected to our motherland or our India. But if we are talking about the anthem be played in cinema hall so I think a cinema hall is a place where everyone who are coming to spend some time to enjoy a life with our friends and families. And cinema hall are also not a right place to show our feelings for our country. And the main and biggest thing is we are not forced to someone to stand in front of the TIRANGA and give the respect from the anthem.

So, the NATIONAL ANTHEM should not be played in cinema halls.

We must play national anthem in CH because most of the cinema halls don't approach such patriotic things like lower level of cinema halls, the Govt must take such steps towards them, parents never feel safe to send their child in such places where they don't show respect, and when we used to sing the national anthem in school, no one stand against NA as we loved to spend more time in such things more than studies, and when it started in cinema halls any are there to refuse to go there, even you go with the family, girlfriend, wife where their such respect is shown everyone feel safe and for that time they remember our brave soldiers.

As per my opinion, I want to say something about the National Anthem. The national anthem should be played in cinema halls but many people go to in the cinema hall from many works. The Cinema hall is not just a hall but hear, many shops in around and many places for playing the game. So if we play the national anthem then many people hear it but not feel this moment because he busy with his work. So according to me, it should play one day in a weak so all people can attract this national anthem and feeling it and he will remember our soldiers which sacrifice for our nation.

Yeah, and it should also be played before entering in a water park, mall, restaurant, public park etc. Soldiers are sacrificing their lives each day, but what are you doing for their sacrifice? You think you stand up in a cinema hall and your duty ends?

India is a country having unity in diversity. There are certain things which bring these peoples together. National anthem is one among such, which has to be considered with all due respect. Cinema halls are places where people come for relaxing and enjoyment. Playing national anthem is no point in such a situation. It is better that every institution must start with a national anthem.

It's a good idea to play national anthem in cinema halls, but still, I didn't find it so very necessary. It's a kind of honour and we must respect it. I want to share one of the incidences where one boy didn't stand and also asked his friend not to stand when the national anthem started playing. I really felt very bad and I thought it's really not a good idea to play national anthem in cinema halls because people started neglecting it and it's really a major issue when people started ignoring it. For me, if a person starts ignoring that it's the first step to break a relation. I don't want as a citizen of the country anyone should do that.

I also believe that not everything should be done everywhere. We should see the surrounding, then act accordingly.

So, I recommend that we should not play national anthem in cinema halls.
