Should national anthem be played in cinema halls?

Yes, it should be played. It represents our respect towards our nation. So it makes no difference paying our respect towards our nation for few minutes from hours. So I support the statement national anthem shouldd be played in theatres.

As we know, national anthem shows how our patriot sacrifices their life to the freedom of the nation. If the national anthem ring in the cinema maal as we see in the cinema hall in the one time collect more people at the one place. So with the help of the more population, we can improve the patriotism easily in the every individual. My suggestion the national anthem should be allowed in the cinema hall. Thank you.

Hello friends, As our topic is should national anthem be played in cinema halls? From my point of view, it should be played in cinema halls because it shows our patriotism for the nation and it takes only 2 min so it is not a heavy thing to stand for a while.

But in some cases it shouldn't be played like may be any calamites occur in the country related to any thing.

I feel that if anyone stand for fifty two second for country, that would not the matter of any harm to him and a soldier of our country do his duty for twenty four hours by just standing in the border for protecting us from external attack. Is he only responsible for our life ? today we are living safely in our country because of nationalism and if you stand for fifty two second it fed nationalism in us and automatically feeling of patriotism comes to us.

Many people are answering saying 2 minutes of national anthem wouldn't harm. True. But the discussion is not that. I am sure no one has a trouble standing up for a few minutes but it's baseless to play national anthem in a movie hall. National anthem being played at international sports meets, national holidays or schools or the other places, is fine. How come singing the national anthem before a movie instill patriotism in someone? We all get engrossed in the movie, go out and forget about it. This is not how we can show our nationalism. There are other nationalist things that we can do as an individual to feel proud and love for our country.

In my opinion, national anthem should not be played at theaters because there's a thing called right thing to be done at right place so generally, we go theater to watch a movie so I don't think just standing for 2 min shows patriotism without giving respect from core of our heart for the matter who sacrificed their lives for our mother land.

As per my opinion, this is not a matter to stand for national anthem in cinema halls. If people thinks why does govt apply these we are going to watching movies in halls to enjoy some moments. Any movie is near about 2 hrs. Then if we are stand only 52 seconds. What we have problem. This is very good initiative taken by our govt and me must proudly to stand up for our national anthem.

In my opinion, it is not right thing. We should respect our country as well as national anthem but we don't want to make show off in theatre. . Before we are going to toilet do we pray? Situation and time will decide what to do and when to do.

I think it is a great step taken by SC about playing national anthem in cinema. In Colombia and Thailand, it is a law to play national anthem in every morning in every public TV and radio. And I think playing in cinemas is much better than playing in TV and Radio stations because in the home typically people never stand up while national anthem because nobody is watching them but in cinemas, they have to stand up and respect national anthem it brings unity in them. At least they remember to respect their nation. As nowadays it is only mandatory in schools and our youth is becoming self-centered. They have no time to be patriotic. And cinemas is the plays where today's youth often go. And I don't think the person respecting his or her country have a problem to stand just for 52 sec for respecting nation before watching a movie.

In my point of view, it is a good step taken by our Government. Because after our school and college days we people forget about our national anthem and it is a good thing to hear again in the cinema hall. I don't know why people saying that it is an irritated one, I have one question. You people spend three hours to watch a movie but before that why you are not ready to spend 1min for our national anthem. I think it is our responsibility too.

So in my point of view, it is a good thing.
