Not at all. In fact, it would led to disrespect of our national anthem because nowadays adult movies are more common with lots of intimate scenes and double-meaning jokes and playing our national anthem before that is just a foolish decision. These days you will find cinema hall has just become a lovers point for all and lots of them don't even think of standing at the national anthem. So it is just disrespectfully of our national anthem. Thank you.

This rule is not the way to give respect to our national anthem. The most common reason is that in every cinema hall there are so many people of different thinking like literate person knows that how to respect our national but an illiterate person don't know the meaning of respect and certainly they don't stand on starting of national anthem but they pass some ridiculous comments like " aby pagal hai kya jo khada ho gaya ". So in my point of view, this rule shows the disrespect to our national anthem and also to our freedom fighters. Therefore play national anthem in government and private schools, offices, and colleges because these people know how to give respect.

My dear friends, In my point of view, playing a national anthem is a good idea to inject the patriotism into the Indian citizens. We are now a independent country because of somany sacrifices by our Martyrs. Its our responsibility to respect them. Respecting National anthem is equal to respecting sacrifices of Indian martyrs. Hence I support playing in cinema halls because for each and every entertainment we should remember their sacrifices.

I feel no. Respect should come from your heart and it shouldn't be forced. It will indirectly cause more disrespect to the national anthem. Also, there is a code of singing National Anthem, which we used to follow in schools that National Anthem shouldn't be sing under a roof. And this decision of supreme court breaches that law. In all I would like to say, Idia is an independent country and they shall be provided respecting their country whenever they feel from the heart. Thank you.

I feel that it is not reaching the people in the correct way that is the concept behind it is not really getting change in the society. If the playing national anthem playing in the cinema halls is really worth then I will say with an example here.

Suppose if ther is any movie based on the concept of freedom fighters only some of them will adopt the movie and watch it. For this type of movies even there will be no hose full board. But if there is any commercial movie then all the people will be watching the movie even purchasing the tickets from black.

First of all, the mind set should be changed by their own no one can do nothing. Govt may be thinking that it makes some sense by playing the anthem but it dosen't make any sense.

Hello all;.

I strongly support Supreme Court decision because ln India, people give importance to only two things that are cricket and cinema. Playing national anthem was already done in cricket matches. Now it left in cinema, now a days people are more interesting to watch movies in cinema halls. Every day it plays 3 or 4 times. And there are illiterate and literature people in cinema halls. If we think about illiterate people, they didn't know meaning of the national anthem. But this time, there is a chance to know about the national anthem, how to respond to our national anthem and how much of time they stand up during playing the national anthem. By doing this they will follow the national anthem rules. Lndeed, we appreciate the Supreme Court decision. And my conclusion is that playing the national anthem is not only in cinema halls, but also in Railway Stations, airports, and before starting parliament sessions. By the way our patriotism will grow up. And it will help to increase the unity of the country.

Yes, National Anthem should be played in cinema halls. Think about freedom fighters who sacrificed their life for our country, and also our Indian army on borders can do their duty as an Indian well why can't we just stand for 2 min for our National Anthem.

In my views, It should not be played in cinema halls.

Because there are some people who don't stand during the national anthem.

It represents our country so it should be done in school, the college's in events program, there is no use of national anthem in cinema halls.

As per the government rule, it should be held in open area, not in close room and cinema hall is fully covered so legally it shouldn't be played there.

National anthem must not be played in a cinema theatre, the national anthem has a huge respect, it gives patriotic feel in our heart. We respect our national anthem. If it is played in a cinema theatre, its respect goes down. The National anthem has a huge respect. It must be played only in right places. In cinema theatre, different kind of cinema is shown, film is a mix of comedy, fight, love etc. When we are going to watch a film in theatres, it can be any kind of films like love or horror. If the national anthem plays in the hall, its respect is gone down. Everyone has huge respect for our country, national anthem. It must be played when it is necessary. I love my country, so I request not to play national anthem in cinema halls.
