Indai is very large country and we need lots of manpower to fullfill all the nation requirement. Like in bank sector. Defence sector and in medical sector also. If we follow on child policy, we can not say that he or she will fullfill the nation requirement. Nation would not get the people for doing the nation work. Two child policy work in the field of emotion, respect and good sibling bonding. One brother can do help other. Which they will not do in one child police. Somewhere they feel so alone and get depeation.

Yes, India should impose this law as soon as possible. Nowadays The world's foremost problem is population. Especially, Its been a headache for India always. China has been trying repeatedly to control the population. But India has no effort since independence. Not only citizens of India but also the government has never been taken it as a serious matter.

So for the future, we should take steps towards the population. All citizens must follow the one-child policy before waiting the government will install this policy. In communal countries, It is easy to initiate something but its far opposite in democracies like India. After the government's decision People has to respect the decision's of govt and obey. The Government should make strict laws and policies upon this matter to promulgate over citizens, the world's most defiant public ever in a democratic country.

It will help the government to manage the shelter, food, mobility, pollution, and to develop education, industry, agriculture and external imports and exports.

Hello Everyone!

In India, we believe Unity in Diversity. Now we need to understand why this topic becomes a concern for nation. India has its own land mass, water, & other resources no country can prosper if there is overburden on resources India is going to become water scarcity nation in the year 2025, we have fixed landmass, fixed Resources for our necessities, now comes Per Capita Income when we talk about the Universal Income which indirectly creates the burden on GDP So for the sustainable development we need to sustain the resources to prosper and One child policy can become a trending change to solve the population unemployment crisis.

Hello, guys hope you all doing great.

Now, coming to the topic "should India have a one-child policy".
I don't think this policy should apply in India.
Because our constitution doesn't implement this type of forcible ideas.
Because this is the personal thought and nation duty for any individual.
So if we wanna implement this rule or policy the nation should also support us.
That's all from my side thank you.

No, in my opinion I think India should not have a single child policy as we need betterment in many areas such as healthcare, security, safety, agriculture, technology, architecture, etc. So, I think that by implementing the 1 child policy are problem will be no where near it's solution, so further on I would like to say that sometimes a single child can also experience loneliness and depression. So, according to me, the single child policy should not be in forced.

I think we should follow the one-child policy in India not for all time only as long as we do not maintain our population. Because we know that in the field of population India has the second rank. We also know that for the development of any country population is a major factor. Because of the population of any country is more than unemployment increases in that country, not only in the case of employment also more population causes population. In the field of population, India always increases day by day.

So, please make unity us, then such type of rules can be done.

I completely disagree with the above-mentioned statement.

Because We Indians say Youths are the backbone of India. If we adopt a one-child policy now think about the situation after 20-30 years. The Number of youths will drastically reduce which will have a direct impact on the productivity of our country.

I think 2 child policy would be more suitable as people prefer male children over female children which can cause a wide gap in the sex ratio in the country.

Hello all,

According to my perspective. One child policy seems like a ban while viewing the outcomes of the policy in different aspects.

Childbearing giving birth is something which has an emotional connection with humans. Many families have 2 or more children due to some common reasons yet valid reasons like they do not want their child being grow lonely unaware of the sibling bond and in some cases, the parents want multiple heirs for their savings and earnings etc.

Rather than keenly focusing on the one-child policy, the government can plan on developing the country to accommodate a growing population rightfully.
