All of my batchmates already discussed many different points about this topic like who are engineers and about their role and their role in disaster management. So guys can you believe, engineers are those who can trace or predict a disaster before it happens? A geo-engineer can predict the pace and intensity of an earthquake before it occurs therefore shifting people from that area can save many lives. Underground shelters or capsules are designed for sea areas which can secure lives from floods and tsunamis. Deep borewells are also installed in different dry areas to prevent that area from drought.

By this way, engineer plays a very crucial role in disaster management.

In My point of view, engineers are a vital part of society. Without them, Our lives would never be easy. In Disaster Management, Engineers are very crucial in determining the quantity of impact which affects normal people so that they can prepare to face the disaster. The government also takes necessary action for the welfare of the people and to tackle the disaster.

Basically, Engineers calculate the impact of Disaster through various methods, so that we prepare accordingly to save the lives of people.

Friends, today we have a topic for discussion that is the Role of Engineers in Disaster Management.

In my opinion, firstly, we have to know who an engineer is? I think engineers are normally like us as individuals but their skills are what they acquire and learn in their journey to create an engineer from a normal person. I think an engineer's journey is already has so many situations they deal with in their journey, so I think they are preparing her/hisself for handle this kind of situation in earlier. So, I think that they are making themselves good in managing on the situation of disaster.

Engineers are the main people in a developing society. Every sector has its roles. Like a doctor treats the patient or a teacher teaches the student, the police will protect society from the thief from the robbers from the bad people. Like that, engineers are the person who makes society very good, and engineers can destroy society or maintain the society. Without engineers, our life will become very difficult in most of situations. Like in history, for doing some work, there is a need for lots of time. Like you want to travel from here to there, you work by foot and it consumes a lot of time. But engineers made the aeroplanes made the car made the bicycle make the cycle different types of transport are made by the engineer and we can use them and we can easily travel from here to there in a very few in a very limited time.

Engineers can make your vision a reality. Any problem can be solved by the engineer in an optimised way. We know that engineers think differently, like some people think in a simple way, but an engineer things are very complex. The third process of engineers is very different from other people. Engineers are the boon of society. So if any climate changes occur, the engineers will be able to give the real climate change report. Engineers work before the disaster, and after the disaster, there is a role for engineers. Like before the disaster, if there is climate change, engineers can inform the person people so that people can sit from that place. After the disaster, there is a lot of problems occur like the electricity of society will be gone the railway system will be broken they the house at the buildings are broken. And after that engineer can inform the mechanical engineers, inform the construction engineers inform the electrical engineers, and they can solve that problem in a very few time. Lots of lives are saved by the engineer. From my perspective, in your house, there is a mother, a father and your daughter and 4 to 5 children if there are so there must be one engineer in one house. Like I am a B.Tech student. And this is my fourth year, and I am a computer science engineer. I promise I will make India into Digital India. I will do good things for society. I will not leave the poor persons beyond the technology I will surely provide them also technology. So that's why engineers are a very important part of society.
