Engineers play a crucial role in disaster management by designing, planning, and implementing strategies to mitigate the impact of disasters, as well as aiding in recovery efforts. Engineers design infrastructure to withstand natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, and storms. This includes earthquake-resistant buildings, flood barriers, and stormwater management systems.

Hello everyone.

The role of an engineer always plays a vital role in creating a thing or re-establishing it. The way of thinking of an engineer is a little bit different from other normal people. They help to study the situation or the structure affected they can direct many valuable possible ways to get rid of that situation.

Engineers play a crucial role in our society. Disasters caused may be caused by nature or by humans. The way thinking by engineers is different from normal people. Engineers can design, analyze, build and test the material. With advanced technology, the engineers will find the disaster before it comes. And what precautions to take to reduce the impact of that disaster.

So, there is a crucial part of the role of engineers in disaster management.

Hello everyone, as the topic says "the role of engineers in disaster management" I believe that the role of engineers is everywhere in our day-to-day life and as well in critical situations.

For disaster management I believe that engineers can help in various ways, be it a civil engineer who can analyse the bridges, dams load and overflows in floods or any water disaster, be it an electrical or electronics engineer who can check the power supply management in the disastrous situation who can check if the messages or notices are reaching through every affected city, also mechanical engineers can contribute as they can design innovative machines or jet, boats that can be used in a critical situation.

According to me, engineers play the main role in disaster management. In nowadays, people use smartphones, laptops, pc or other things and these things make human life easy and These things are made by engineers so I think engineers are detecting disaster management.

Good morning everyone, I am Shibam.

Today's topic is about the role of engineers in disaster management.

In My point of view, engineers are a vital part of society. Without them, Our lives would never be easy. In Disaster Management, Engineers are very crucial in determining the quantity of impact which affects normal people so that they can prepare to face the disaster. The government also takes necessary action for the welfare of the people and to tackle the disaster.

Basically, Engineers calculate the impact of Disaster through various methods, so that we prepare accordingly to save the lives of people.

That's all from my side. Thank you.

Well as everyone said in this discussion, engineers play a great role not only in today's society but since many years. Having a great safe sleep under the fan or AC in a completely protected room could have not been possible without engineers. There could have been no developed communication facilities without an IT or Computer engineer, there won't be any transportation without an Automobile engineer, without an electronic and mechanical engineer having a comfortable sleep will be a dream. Even though doctors save us, engineering principles had enhanced the positive results of an operation.

Coming to the point, "role of engineers in disaster management", many road accidents have been reduced due to improved technology like sensors etc.

Having a prototype of a building or vehicle or machine before creating actual models, with the help of design software has reduced or maybe eliminated many risk factors. Thanks to those design engineers.

In my personal experience, Still, there is a major concern that most people in some rural areas are thinking that engineering is worthless and are stopping their children from choosing this awesome degree.

Thank you!

Engineers play a vital role in Disaster Management,

Engineers are those people who know technical and innovative ideas very well. The disaster can be caused by natural and also human beings. By inventing many technical products engineers can reduce disaster.

I'm very happy to share some thoughts on this topic. I'm a civil engineer I can able to build the society in a technical manner. Every country could be taken part to create many innovative ideas. But in our locality it could be low quality design materials to build the constructions due to political reverence.

Engineers are build a long lasting period of time. There also know the failure point of the part.

In disaster times, there can manage the loss of the lives & damage should be decreased. And also there are getting able to reconstruct the damage places.

So, I proudly say. Engineers are back bone of the India.

I think engineers play a very important role in disaster management.

As nowadays technology is increasing very much. So engineers can predict the disaster and they can give some instructions to get rid of them.
