Hello everyone, as the topic says "the role of engineers in disaster management" I believe that the role of engineers is everywhere in our day-to-day life and as well in critical situations.

For disaster management I believe that engineers can help in various ways, be it a civil engineer who can analyse the bridges, dams load and overflows in floods or any water disaster, be it an electrical or electronics engineer who can check the power supply management in the disastrous situation who can check if the messages or notices are reaching through every affected city, also mechanical engineers can contribute as they can design innovative machines or jet, boats that can be used in a critical situation.

And coming to today's topic, the role of engineering in disaster management that in these day engineer plays an impact role in our daily life because when you wake up our day starts all the process or things are based on the engineer. Every engineer plays an important role because for motorcycle mechanical engineer is a need, for fuel chemical engineer is a need, for electricity electrical engineer is a need. For all these works every engineer is needed. Without this, you don't know everything. So engineer is not an easy job. It's just a word to tell easy. But it not easy to finish the work.

In My point of view, engineers are a vital part of society. Without them, Our lives would never be easy. In Disaster Management, Engineers are very crucial in determining the quantity of impact which affects normal people so that they can prepare to face the disaster. The government also takes necessary action for the welfare of the people and to tackle the disaster.

Basically, Engineers calculate the impact of Disaster through various methods, so that we prepare accordingly to save the lives of people.

Friends, today we have a topic for discussion that is the Role of Engineers in Disaster Management.

In my opinion, firstly, we have to know who an engineer is? I think engineers are normally like us as individuals but their skills are what they acquire and learn in their journey to create an engineer from a normal person. I think an engineer's journey is already has so many situations they deal with in their journey, so I think they are preparing her/hisself for handle this kind of situation in earlier. So, I think that they are making themselves good in managing on the situation of disaster.

Engineer plays a very important role in disaster management, engineer gives information about climate conditions, without an engineer we can't imagine the world. Not only a particular branch is important every branch has its own importance, like how our five fingers is important to our hand like that every branch has its own importance, inventions of new software is done by computer science engineer, constructions of buildings is done by civil engineers, inventions of vehicles & new things is done by mechanical engineers, inventions of different types of bulbs is done by electrical engineers. Engineers can create a world.

I'm very happy to share some thoughts on this topic. I'm a civil engineer I can able to build the society in a technical manner. Every country could be taken part to create many innovative ideas. But in our locality it could be low quality design materials to build the constructions due to political reverence.

Engineers are build a long lasting period of time. There also know the failure point of the part.

In disaster times, there can manage the loss of the lives & damage should be decreased. And also there are getting able to reconstruct the damage places.

In my point of view, they play a significant role of Engineers while managing any disaster because before coming to any disaster, the engineering teams evaluate the exact date of the striking place of striking what will be the impact of that disaster on that place, and the possible precautions that could be taken to avoid the financial and manpower loss.
