Regional languages in India are fading out in today's world.

Indian govt start providing new language learning facilities and languages like (English, German, French) due to which they are stopping funds for the regional schools instead which they think off that it will help in development but instead of introducing new well affiliated schools which are providing languages like German, French govt could go for investing funds in regional schools which could overwhelm students to depicted and dedicated towards their culture and also India could develop with this also.

Regional language plays a major role in making India unique when you go to Mumbai they used to speak in other ways as compared to up so it seem to be completely different from each other. When you go to south side cities like Chennai, Mysore, and Bangalore they used to speak in Tamil or Telugu. So if you are across India there are various types of languages. When you complete your studies and get a job in any organization or field it requires a professional way to interact and if you get settled in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, or Bangalore you don't want to speak in regional languages to friends/colleagues/neighbor to make them comfortable and look decent to them. So that's the reason why regional languages are fading these days. We shouldn't forget our roots and try to keep interacting in the regional languages with friends at least.

Yes, the regional languages are fading out because the pressure of learning and speaking eng is so much that neither parents nor the children are being encouraged to speak their regional languages. According to me regional lang should also being given importance acceptance as we should not forget our culture and should cherish what we are.

Yes, regional languages in India are fading out because in the professional area everyone is using the international language English and some time Hindi. Now, these two languages become the main language.

In urban and semi-urban area people are mostly using English language because of the environment we human beings are very flexible we can speak any language so it doesn't mean that we forget our regional language and we have to know that in which situation which language have to use I don't think so regional language is fading out. We can say that we are using the more English language.

English is just a language through which we communicate and regional language is a language and it has the power to create a bonding between same region people.

In my opinion, I would like to say that regional languages are not fading out in today's world. Because our mother tongue should be in our heart and for the sake of professional we have to be aware of English.

In IT sector, we can't talk in our mother language, where there will be people who don't know more than few languages, so English is the international language and professional lag and everyone know this language, and also for an interview in IT sector will be done through English, not in your mother tongue.

We can't exactly say that local languages are fading. Yes, it is mandatory for many students, professionals to know English to interact with their colleagues in their work place as they can't speak one others language, but it doesnt mean that they forgot their own language. To survive in this Global competitive era, we must be familiar with english as it is a medium of communication with many higher people especially foreigners.

In modern times, English becomes essential for us, nowadays all official work is done in the English language. It impacts adversely on regional languages. Regional languages are fading out due to the impact of Western culture and our education system. Some schools are totally English and regional language is optional to learn. In today's world, a man is known by his language and person with good knowledge of English and good speaker is consider educated. Youth is preferring English to the regional language. No doubt English is essential if we want to live in today's world with respect but we should not forget our regional language it's very important to know our culture and religion.

As we all know that, India is the country having very rich and vibrant past. We have lots of heritage behind us. Many rurals ruled over Indian land and put their impact here. In India so many native languges are spoken by peoples and these numbers near about 1652 languages are spoken according to one of the census. Each language has its own history behind as per evolution steps from very ancient time. However, despite countless regional languages and their abundance in terms of spoken and written literature, they are fast fading out in today's world. There are many regional languages that have been long forgotten and are not spoken anymore.

Yes in India regional languages are fading day by day. Nowadays in the 21st-century digitalization is everywhere in the world so English is a global language that's why everyone is using it. English is a professional language so everyone wants a great carrier hence they are using it for their benefits. Now youngsters giving priority to the western culture so obviously they are following their languages. And they assume that speaking regional languages is inferior, not standard type. In India education system also growing in the English language so everyone wants to go with that flow. It's essential to go with the flow but don't forget our culture, language, and traditions. Use English or any other language only when it requires and also be a master of it. But don't feel inferior or shy to communicate in our own mother tongue or regional languages conserve our culture and languages.

And also to conserve regional languages government should have to take initiative to use our regional languages for education and also for other official purposes.
