No, Religion doesn't divide us. It is the mentality of the people which does. Religion always focused on humanitarian values and this is something we should understand at the base level. People bring their personal preferences in between and convert them into religious acts in order to seek fake validation for their inhuman acts.

Definitely problems unite us but it is illogical to say religions divide us. All religions of Indian subcontinent origin teach about humanity, mercy and self-motivation.
There is certain a religion that has a medieval mindset and the preachers of religion are barbaric. All religions should not be pointed out for a single devil.

According to Darvin theory of revolution of human being, the humans are algae, so there is no need to fight between us because of the world accepted theory we are brothers and sisters. And again. Religions are made for maintaining peace in all human beings. But some people uses in wrong direction to dominate among the people.

According to me, Both divide and both unite us. Problems may create more disparity and it may lead to the destruction of one. Man is a social being, and its okay to function as a community, it's in our very nature, so religion being a community is totally fine until unless when someone says our religion is better than other!

Problems and Religion are tools of unification only if they are in the right hands, which according to me is the same with all the innovation and tools.
The Problem is an opportunity for innovation and if it concerns the public at large, they come together and try to add solutions irrespective of religion.

According to me,
No matter in which dharma or religion we belong.
All religions and their holy books give a message to live with unity and always help others. So how can religion divide us?
And of course, a problem is a situation where we all take the initiative to overcome that particular problem.

Problems unite us through poverty, climate change and social injustice whereas religion divides us by creating a barrier, fostering exclusive and perpetuating stereotypes.
To overcome all these challenges we must focus on shared values, practice empathy and understanding and celebrate diversity.

In my opinion, 'problem and religion' both are totally dependent on each other.
For ex: The politicians rises the religious matters on which the people divided to protect their religions. Which creates problems. In this situation the problem divides the the people into religion.

Problems unite us and religion divides us, I partially agree with the statement because there is no doubt that problems unite us every time and no religion said disrespect the other religion it's the people who made that. Every religion says one thing but in a different way.
