In my opinion, the privatization of some public sector organizations will definitely reduce corruption but privatizing every sector will not reduce corruption it will only increase it to the next level. And some organizations of a country should be under the government's control. I accept privatization will help in the GDP growth of the country, it will generate more employment, there would be more per capita income but we cannot hand over government controls on big organizations to private companies.
So, there are some public sectors which should be privatized but all public sectors shouldn't be privatized just to reduce corruption.

According to my opinion privatization will not reduce the corruption because corruption is there in private sector for satyam scam. Sometimes, government and private both are responsible for corruption for example coal mining etc.

Yes I do agree with this statement. The Private sector can make less corruption than the public sector. Moreover they want flawless system in their process. Until the people have that fear for punishment, there will be a less corruption. Privatization surely make the change in the corruption system.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Not at all. People have this deep notion in their minds especially Indians that government organizations don't work, and they just earn and relax. Such wrong belief system is so deep rooted in the minds of Indians and when it comes to the preference of either government or private job, then 90% of Indians would opt a government job. When you want to fill your tummy by a government job, then why you cannot work hard ?
Thus, I am against the statement, I think its just the mentality of Indians, else ask a government employee, he works hard to uplift his organization.

Hello everyone,
Ofcourse, privatisation results in less corruption. As far I observed most of the government employees offer curroption because of no strict rules and regulations, where as private sector follows strict rules and regulations.
But, in private sectors there will not be any job security as public sector. And everyone wanna get employment in public sector.

Dear friends, Good evening:- now a days corruption plays a vital role in human civilization. It plays like a disease in every human body. It spreads like the roots of a tree to all direction. For prohibitive of it, one thing privatization is necessary, but it happens in rare case. If we stop corruption, then we have to apply strong rule for it taking it mass. By strong rule applying, we can remove the corruption from the mind of everyone.
Now this is the time we communicate and by applying strong rule, we stop the corruption totally.
So dear friends, come on, take promise today to stop corruption by strong rule from top to bottom level.

In my view point, privatisation will definitely reduce the corruption. Because Red Tapism is not possible there. That is a time delay for moving a file related to problems or needs of common man. In government organisations in order to make these files move common people is required to give them bribe. Why this so? It is mainly because of the job security enjoyed by govt officials. They are not having any fear of loosing the job. But in the case of Pvt companies, these actions are enough for loosing the job. This will instil a fear of loosing the job among employees. So corruption will be reduced. Another reason for reduced corruption is higher remuneration paid by these Pvt companies. Because of these salaries, there is no need for receiving any bribe. And above all these mindsets of people should be changed first.

Ya here we got an interesting topic about privatization, ya in my point of view of privatization we lead to less corruption when compared to govt sector as people who are inbound with govt organization will not take care of the profit or loss.
Where as in public sector profit and loss will play an important role so one will take good care of what is going on the company and hence we can avoid corruption.
On privatization we will get healthy competitions on producing reasonable products.
And people get good services unlike in public sector.
Finally privatization is a success way to reduce corruption in India.

There is no guarantee that privatization leads to less corruption, because there are some companies in the news which did scam.
The cost of products increases by privatization.
If we take private petrol bunks, even though they keep petrol bunks clean, they charge high than the bunks under government control.
Our rights of demanding decreases by privatization.

Corruption in the organization is when there are various processes going on and one can manipulate the system. Transformation in systems i.e technology, re-engineering is enabling to form a standard functioning. Therefore privatization is getting more accustomed to these changes and focusing on, so therefore privatization not only brings competitive environment in the industry but also clears the system to be more transparent.
