Privatization will lead to Less Corruption

Privatization and corruption both are totally different thing. Those people who are corrupt it doesn't matter whether they are in public sector or government sector they will remain corrupt. The only benefit of privatization is that quality of output of different organization will improve. As you can take the example of Indian railway if it will be privatized then you will able to see the standard of the Indian railway.

No privatization will only control the corruption to some extent at lower level but at higher level corruption can't be controlled by privatization. As we see in order to make any sector private large amounts of bribes are given by interested firms/companies to the govt so don't think that privatization can control corruption.

Privatization is not gonna make any changes in any of our system. If we are taking the case of our engineering colleges, most of them are private institutions. Even Though they used to collect a large amount from each student as donation. This is an another face of corruption. But instead of that we must follow top tax system. It will be better than anything.

But as we know that there are two aspects of life. One is positive or negative.

If privatization goes into positive way, it would give positive effect, corruption may be reduced. If it goes into negative way, it would give negative impact, thus corruption may be reduced.

But ultimately it depends on the mind of the people, how we take it.

Our discussion topic is "privatization will lead to less corruption" I agreed with this statement but my question is that only private sector reduce corruption easily? many people says YES or many people says NO, that's our mindset if we all people decide to reduce corruption in our country to work with together not a private sector or a government sector. Definitely we reduce corruption.

If we work together developed the nation and automatically problem will solve.

As my friends told about the topic they are right on their own point of view, but my opinion is that by doing privatization it will never clean the corruption completely, it only possible when people are work together, and we people well not corrupt ourself, then obviously the corruption can be reduced, because corruption starts from us, if we are in the right way then corruption will be far away from us. Well, guys our country was privatised in 1991. In one way, we can say that privatisation is a boon for our country. The companies that are under govt organisation are least bothered on the quality and quantity of the produce. Of Course, They are accountable to the Government but there is a chance of over invoicing and make more hidden profits which finally lead to the contagious disease corruption.

But in the case of privatisation, the private holders are much aware of their business and the burden of the loss or profit is wholly consumed by self. There are less chances for corruption under privatisation.

Well I believe privatization cannot eliminate corruption. Well corruption born from human mentality. Until unless we decide neither do corruption nor to allow someone to do corruption, this disease cannot be eliminated. We have to repair ourselves first.

Well if we talk about private companies, then I want to claim Jindal Steel which is a private company and was involved in many scams like coal scam. Similarly all time we find news like companies escaping profit share of share holders by showing no profit. Here someone is getting profit which is unfair, so this is corruption.

Hello friends, according to my point of view, no doubt privatization lead to less corruption but with the same there is also need to change the thinking of the peoples. If maximum sector in India becomes private but the mentality of the people remain same, then what's the fun of privatization?

I think there are two types of effort are require to remove the corruption in India. First one is from government side and second one from our side. First I would like to discuss the effort of government side. The government should make strict rule for every department and take action immediately to give the punishment to accused person. I think if government take action against only one percent of the accuse person, then the other 99% person automatically do their duty honestly.

Second effort is require from the ourside. Now today, there is a need to change the wrong mentality of the people. If we do our duty honestly, then a large amount of corruption is ended. If we take oath to do any work without taking anything, then how corruption is not ended?

So At last I want to say that, if we want to end the corruption totally, then with the government, there is also need to change the mentality of our mind and then only corruption is totally ended.

Hey I totally agree with this. What exactly should be done is we have to work together and as said above that we all should change our mentality and set our mind to work honestly if we want a corruption free India along with the government.
