Hello friends,
Talking on the topic" privatisation leads to less corruption" I think in case of corruption there is nothing like private or a public thing. The best way to get out of this is "digitization" i.e. making everything online and hence reducing the human interference because I feel this is the only way which can provide us with 100% transparency and hence a reduction in corruption.
Taking a recent example of filing an FIR. I think it has really helped a lot in reducing the corruption at least at this level.
What else can be done is by making strict laws and creating a non governmental organisation which would not only keep a check on the laws but will also make sure that the implementation is being done properly.

Privatization will help in removing corruption but at the same time it is not suited for every sector. Government owned sectors work for the welfare of people and also bring revenue for the government to function properly.
I think if government imposes strict rules and give punishment to the one accused for corruption the instances of corruption will reduce. Here is an example, Delhi chief minister Mr. Kejriwal encouraged people to post videos or voice recordings when police took bribes from them so that they can stop these malpractice.
Many policemen were accused and punished as a result they are now afraid and do there work properly. So, I believe if people and government work together we can make India corruption free.

Hello everybody.
I agree with the points and thoughts mentioned above. But in my point of view I feel that PPP is the best way to eliminate corruption from our country. When both sectors will work together it will be effective and efficient way to do work.

My opinion will be making privatization to reduce corruption is like 'removing hand for finger infection rather than treatment'. Govt leaders should take this opportunity and should try to clean corruption rather than handing over their duty to private firms.

Making Privatization is good concept as it will provide better facility and services for people. But it will not work in every field because there is a vast difference between government and private firm. Private firms is for making a profit of own organization and compete with other organization for their growth. So privatization should be restricted to some level otherwise, it will introduce the slavery system again as we were in past during British rule.

Hello everyone, corruption is no where related to government sector or private sector, its the mind set of the people, even the private firms have to pay commission to get their work done faster so there is no surety that privatizing the sector will reduce corruption. I support that their should be privatization (with partial monitoring from government) in sectors which needs upliftment such as infrastructure, power, agriculture, health care etc so that we economically become strong.
Privatizing these sectors will not only boosts and bring revenue but will also generate employment and increase competition, more company will join there by competing for price, quality and quantity to meet the demands of the people as result customer will get good quality of infrastructure, better facility and at cheaper price.

Yes, privatization is known for less corruption and productive corporate area. Because there is no job security for the person you have to always hold your positiveness about the work you also be maintain good public interaction.
But however any government sector should not be privatized. It will be better if they create some rule like private sector, like job insecurity. Job insecurity is very much require for industrial growth.

By privatization we may have a control on expenses but by this only the services to a common man will get in high rates. Take example of airport express metro line, when it is under control of reliance we have to pay 100 for our journey. But now when it is governed by government. Its rates are deducted to almost 40 percent.

Well, I thing making government sector private will make a change. But, it is only in our mind wherever you work it's on you how do you see it and by the way there are many scams in private sector also.
Whenever we fail in the exam we don't change the college we give the paper again and again till we pass and we pass only when we impose some restrictions on us. So something same should be done with the government sector to improve them.

I think making India a capitalist economy would lead the country to a great downfall. I strongly believe that if all the sectors are privatized it would lead to lesser income for the government and hence in order to meet with the expenditure they would increase the tax and duties. And as we all know that Indians hate to pay their taxes they would rather start BRIBING the government officials more and thus this would lead to more corruption in INDIA.
