Friends, India is a developing country, and having many problems like corruption, lack of infrastructure, lack of funds so there is requirement of private partner sheep to cope up with these problems, today most priority is infrastructure, but lack of funds and corruption, it not complete so if private companies come for investment then these lacuna would be far away, when infrastructre of India will proper it would attract fdi and investor to invest in our country then our counry would be on fast track of development.

Private participation is highly desirable in terms of the technology used, the experience in that business, corporate governance they have, and most importantly the stringent time limits or progress reports they generate keeping things going as per scheduled. This case we can take projects taken by L&T on major highways along with LANCO USHA, airports built by GMR are some outstanding pieces of infrastructure in India. Why the government is hesitant to encourage this is the fear of transparency in these organizations which limits the officials unofficial earnings. As humans are known to evolve officials have also tapped into various options to pull out some bucks from the budget. This is my say.

Hello Friends, According to me infrastructure is back bone of national development. Without a good infrastructure we can't imagine about the development. As we seen Indian Debt increasing day by day. Which is mainly due to the corruption made by Politician like 2G scam, Coal Block allocation etc. Which weaken the the India Financially. For development India need more and more investment on infrastructure sector. But due to lack of money it unable to provide facility. So introduction on PPP on public sector is a welcome action. It helps Financially on the development of nation. Thank You.

Private participation no doubt increases the cost of commodities, but this hike is short lived because of strong competition like in the case of Telecom Sector in India which saw a nosedive in prices and huge uplift in infrastructure and facilities. Moreover the overarching facilities provided deserves some hike.
