Well friend, as we know very well that fiscal deficit of the country is going to be 5. 6% in 2012 announced by kotak. It means government debt is incresing day by day, and this government debt is increasing day by day due to these corrupt politician who is doing such a big scam like satyam scam, 2g scam, . Etc. And we also know it very well that in infrastructure we need a lot of investment and Indian government has not such amount to invest in infrastructure so definitly private parties involvement is necessary. And those involvement should be ppp (public private partnership). It means government will provide them fascility and they will invest the money. Because for any developing country to be a developed country basic need is trade and without infrastructure trade is impossible. So private participation is required.

Hello guys. Private participation is highly desirable in terms of the technology used, the experience in that business, corporate governance they have, and most importantly the stringent time limits or progress reports they generate keeping things going as per scheduled. This case we can take projects taken by L&T on major highways along with LANCO USHA, airports built by GMR are some outstanding pieces of infrastructure in India. Why the government is hesitant to encourage this is the fear of transparency in these organizations which limits the officials unofficial earnings. As humans are known to evolve officials have also tapped into various options to pull out some bucks from the budget. This is my say.

According to me, as the need of becoming a developed country is increasing day by day, the pressure on government is also increasing in order to improve or strengthen the infrastructure that forms a basis for making our country developed. Government alone cannot meet this demand of strengthening the infrastructure of our country so in that case, private companies will play and are playing an important role strengthening the infrastructure of our country in order to make our country a developed one. AS, infrastructure play an important role in this. Hence, both government And private companies must contribute in making infrastructure strong.

THANK YOU.

Its true that private participation should be very much encouraged in the country, the private firms bring with them a top of the edge understanding of the technology and highly skilled labour. These factors may or may not be present with the government but the main distinguishing factor is the run for survival.

While government companies know that they are here for long term survival, at the same time private firms have to compete for the same and this is what brings in competition and better performance by the private firms. Thus I think private partnership should be encouraged as it results in better performance.

Hello Friends, According to me infrastructure is back bone of national development. Without a good infrastructure we can't imagine about the development. As we seen Indian Debt increasing day by day. Which is mainly due to the corruption made by Politician like 2G scam, Coal Block allocation etc. Which weaken the the India Financially. For development India need more and more investment on infrastructure sector. But due to lack of money it unable to provide facility. So introduction on PPP on public sector is a welcome action. It helps Financially on the development of nation. Thank You.

Yes I do agree that private participation is desirable in infrastructure. why because, if there is proper infrastructure any country can grow. now a days the people at large think that it is the reponsibility of the govt to develop infrastrcuture and then maintain it. but in the recent time the making of nation higways through private agencies is a good eg of this. The are providing good roads and in turn people do not hesitate to pay toll tax. In the process both get benefitted. More over if infrastructure is developed by private participation, it maintenance shall be for ever.

Well friends! Private Participation should always be in the forefront of a country's infrastructure. It not only helps reduce the burden of the government financially but also in terms of providing better quality for the citizens of a country.

But at the same time the government should come out with a solution of proper city planning which shows about a synchronized integration of all the infrastructure in such a way that it should have a proper distribution right from stating the population with their basic needs to the education and employment in the city.

As we all know that India is an emerging industrialized country in the world so in that case to achieve heights of success one should always be conscious about time duration of infrastructural working as it is a very time taking process.

The Private sector can be helpful in this regard as they assure better conductivity of the process, they manage workforce more properly, they tend to reduce time delays, they look after the progress of working on a regular and in an effective way.

That's why the need of private sector involvement is realized.
