Hello Friends,
I am very happy to know about your views towards this thought. I believe that it would be best to have One India One Election but as an individual it's hard to accept it. Because India is demographically large country. There are many pros and cons it has especially money we use for such elections. Yes we would save money by implementing it but many people those who are not economically and financially strong even not much knowledge they have so certainly they would suffer alot for every things like justice. We might get large help from One India One Election and can save money but if large number of people gets injustice what we would with that money, People those who who work for their survival would hardly get benefit from it. As an alternative I believe that to avoid the expense and time on elections our Govt should start Online Voting system. They can implement it and even we increase the voter too from anywhere by giving rights to vote from any state or country to his particular region. We all know that we have had an average of 70% voting but we can increase it to 90% if we would start online voting system. We would save money either. If a person has rights to votes for his particular leader from any of the states or country he stays then we would get a right leader and also it would be for great cause.
But One India One Election would be very hard for ordinary man.
Thanks & Regards,
Akansha Nigam.

I am in favour of One India One Election. This is because of the following advantages country can gain.
Pro:.
We are living in a huge country. So there are elections going on in every part of the country every month. Because of these elections, code of conduct is applicable to those parts which are going through elections. This result in slow decision making as when the code of conduct is applicable the government can't take a decision in favour of the public. It results in loss of time and money. Secondly, huge money is spent on elections. So there should be One election for the whole country. Thirdly, the government has to provide security for the elections through which security personal are being deployed to various parts going through elections. This also results in financial burden on the government. Fourth point and the important point is One election helps in maintaining the importance of elections in the country. This is because People will get free from regular voting. They just need to come out for voting once or twice a year.
Cons-.
One India One Election may affect the credibility of the election. It may happen because the party which is in power may get illegal benefit from the election. But this may be controlled by little effort of the election commission. As India is the huge country it is difficult to perform elections in every part of the country.
Thank you.

This is an appreciable initiative of our prime minister Narendra Modi. India is a democratic country. There are twenty-eight states and union territories. Having election in all these states and union territories one by one is not only tiresome but it also requires a large amount of money to conduct.
Politicians from different parties spend their maximum time in planning strategies for their party, they become greedy. Instead of giving full attention to problems of common people by whose support only they are in politics, they make plans so that how they can get maximum votes and remain in power.
Thus, as a result, common public is the sufferer. People's problems are not taken up effectively and as a result, they want center to intervene. So in maximum cases, center has to be involved to sort out the problems. Thus if are involving center in solving our disputes, then why not give full power to center.
But as a common saying everything has two sides. If center becomes all in one, the problems of state won't be addressed properly. There will be more chances of disputes among states as center will treat every state equally. But all states are not comparable either technology wise or progress wise. Some are fully efficient, have all kinds of resources which others lack.
Thus we can't say that yes this is better or that is better. Both have their own pros and cons.

Hello Friends,
As we know our topic is One India One Election. I think we should proceed this discussion in fruitful approach by first discussing different advantages and disadvantages of conducting one election throughout the country for state as well as Central Government.
In my point of view, I want to present few cons of conducting one election are.
1. India is a 2nd most populated country with 1.2 billion population divided within 29 states and 6 union territories if elections are conducted at the same time it will lead to the huge demand of security, facilities, logistics, and proper organization of elections which is very difficult to manage.
2. If the election happens at the same time then each and every government will be focussed on elections for that period which will lead to high negligence of government toward public welfare and they will totally focus on elections and all reforms and important policies, decisions will be kept pending for that period of time.
3. It will lead to instability of government for the election period.
4. At the single point of time, the government will have to spend a huge amount of capital on this.
5. It will be tough to monitor all the elections simultaneously and put a lot of burden on Election commission.

Huge expenditure on election campaigns and rallies are mere wastage of money. India is a developing nation which has a lot many priorities in its list to be fulfilled to compete in this world. Right from the basic necessities of food, shelter, to the demand of the era like education, employment, civic necessities etc. , we need to invest a lot on these.
We definitely lack funds to use for the right cause, but India cannot be called a poor nation, as we have loads of money with the rich and stronger section of the society under the cover of black money. We have much uncountable, cash to spend for the election campaign which would not yield anything productive for the society or nation. These campaigns are mere show off to the society to popularize an unfamiliar face who is going to contest election and will become unfamiliar once again following the election period.
Despite wasting crores of rupees on these worthless campaigns, they can be used for feeding the poor section of the society and spreading literacy and awareness among the ignorant masses. Infrastructure to the educational institutions, medical facilities, building civic amenities etc. Could itself popularize a governing body without the requirement of these campaigning.

Yes. I agree that implementation of one India one election is a very tough job for us, but if decided nothing is impossible. Take an example of demonetization. Wasn't it a tough job? but the conditions are normal now. Similarly, One India One election can be possible.
As per today's situation of election, there is time lag between the central and state elections. During state elections, Ruling party always try to win in state elections. At that time they diverted from the path of Development of country and the focus is on establishing the power in state. In India, there are elections after every 5 to 6 months. Half time of ruling party goes in publicity, speeches and meetings. Also, there is lot expenditure of money and time also. Then how and when India will be the Developed Nation. Developed Countries like USA has one country One election. So we can also Think about One India One Election.
But before implementing this there needs to make strong our Election Commission and Security. To educate and guide people about this. Then only It will be possible. If we become successful in implementing this it will always helpful for us and our Country.

Hello everyone,
According to me, one India one election is not suitable for such a large area country in which second highest population exist of the world. One government Can't handle the problem of all the people and people also can't go at that one place to take their problem to waste their money and time even for small issues and surety of solution is not confirmed. If small area government Will be there it can provide the solution to everyone without very much time delay as compared to central government Although election expenditure will reduce but the development of the country is more important. One govt will have difficulty in development, providing education, employment of everyplace. Govt procedure is very slow, one govt will take the time to solve everyone's problem. When the judgement is needed and it will not get on time then what will be the benefits of it.
So, the one election is not much effective for such large area and Democratic country India.

Hello friends,
As per my point of view, we need separate election for every post. There are different points which we have to observe. Firstly if any person not able to vote on that day then he/she not able to vote for 4 years.
Second, if any party giving an agenda for 4 year and people vote on that basis then they may force complete their agenda without knowing another side of agenda.
Practically if election carried out by considering one man show then many skilled people of different parties lose their chance.
Other side has considerable pros, one election results in the good management of manpower. In India 65% of the students are studying in government schools and it is found that 25% teachers are absent on single day. This numbers are serious, so we have to use our manpower in proper manner.

Hello.
So, I will start with pros of one nation one election:.
There are a bunch of benefit of single election India is always on mode of election it require lots of resources, money, time political parties gives more emphasize to election more than the work, it will help to making policy for state as well as center level, political parties can gives there more time to people rather than election.
Cons: If in India single election has taken place and a single party elected those single party not work properly in the center as well as state people do not have the option to change the government at least at state level current scenario of election people have chance to change government if government does not work properly in center. Also its difficult to implement a big country like India.
