Nice Guys Finish Last

First of all, we need to define what a Nice guy here refers to?

Be it a nice guy in studies, nice in nature, nice in thinking. Nice can be termed as Noble, Innovative, Challenging and Eclectic. So if a guy is noble definitely he is not going to find out wrong ways of doing things which now a days most of the people do.

If he is innovative and likes challenges then he will try to do things in a different way. And being Selective and meticulous about his work, definitely will take more time than others but the result will be definitely be Epitome of that field.

The quote "nice guys finish last", means a person who is smart, courageous in doing given task. He works with his colleagues by taking their suggestions, involving every member in his team. If he is alone that means solo performance, he will take valuable suggestions from his well wishers preparing them into notes. He will engage with his friends to complete a job, just like group discussion meant for evaluating a perfect solution for a problem by a reasonable discussion. Roughly we can name him as "LEADER".

No one in the world can be called as a nice guy, because doing good to one may cause bad to another.

Well a descent guy always has a great possibility to be 1. There can be very few instances where he is last. But there can be an apprised reason for being last. Some times it can happen because he strives for perfection or overlooks d syllabus or can look in to matters in a pedantic way, which makes him last.

I conclude agreeing to a statement that A descent guy can finish last. But not A descent guy will finish last.

It all depends how we all define the word "Nice" here. It is not automatically implied that "Nice" people are always ethical or speak true or do good things. " Sometimes flattery people are also termed Nice people. Who cares!

I totally do not agree the statement "Nice Guys Finish Last" in contrary. Nice guys get things done easily and quicker than any other can. They know how to handle people and to develop relationships.

Whatever. This is what I think.

Nice guy always think before doing any act. But foolish people act then think. As nice guys think before so although they are late comers but comes with strong action. As we know action speaks louder than words. They ponder over the matter from every angle then come to ultimate solution i.e. approaching towards perfection. While many people get tangled with facts after doing anything. For example many youngsters love to a person without thinking anything and get into trouble.

"Nice guys finish last". According to me What you achieve, how you achieve and the outcome of the achievement matters and not the position whether you achieve it on one go or after n number of attempts. To achieve something significant one must follow the correct path with full determination, honesty and hard work that a nice person can only do. He may get success in his later part of his life but the success which he will get will be permanent and not short lived.

It is not necessary at a nice guy always finish last if he does last that is only because he does things with perfection. I am quite against the motion because nice guys does not mean that he does things very slowly with perfection rather it means that he is nice as he is smart, he know the approach to be followed. So I would say it does not matter to finish last or first for a nice guy rather matter is how perfectionaly he does complete for a given duration.

The ones who work wholeheartedly with dedication but are slightly gullible is the meaning of 'nice' I'm taking into consideration. I don't exactly agree with the point -'the nice ones are accepted by all'. They are honest and straightforward and long for perfection which may not garner everybody's votes.

Also, they may lose out on a few things where smartness works than perfection and end up being among the last ones which they definitely don't deserve.

Nice guys are humble to let others speak first. Nice guys are well mannered to present their presentation in the last cause nice guys know that it does not matter where you go first or go last good things are aways appraised by others irrespective of the timing. More over nice guys take their own time to prepare well for any upcoming venture and they tend to give the perfect touch to their project so it is better for them to be patient rather than fool.

I think topic indicates those people remain as dark horse but at the end they come out with wonderful results. They are nice in the sense that, they have better strategies and out of box thinking. If you remain as dark horse nobody would be expecting from you to win and due to which there will be no pressure on you to win. You will have only to gain and nothing to lose. If you think like that you have obviously better chance to perform well.
