I do agree that Modern Day Sport in Industrialized Society is an Industry. Many players are indulged in match fixing. Sponsorship has made cricket so popular that other games popularity are degrading day by day. Even our national game hockey has been ignored. Many other cricket games are introduced like 20-20's, IPL etc which entertains our public. And they stick all day long to this game.

Yes, modern-day sports is an industry in industrialized society because with the internet, sports can reach billions of people and make so much of money makes it an industry like IPL which makes billions just from the Television rights which has people investing money and it is not soo much with skill and ability any more only entertainment.

Yes I completely agree with the above statement because players sometimes do things like that they are finding in match fixing. They dialed by the cricket board that is apart but they just want to earn more and money only they do not worry about the fame of nation as well as themselves. Even people invest their money in these games so I thnk this should not happened.
