I have to agree with all those who have responded in favour of this topic.
Initially, sports was a form of building competitive spirit, stamina, and motor skills, in a group or an individual activity. Gradually, these events were much enjoyed and fancied by local masses. With the advent of social media, modern sports grew so profoundly and are easily accessible, that our congregation amplified as well.
With this, there has been a rising impact on the players, team managers, official boards and some major investors' interests. These interests lead to a swelling industry with players as its major assets. It is undeniable that modern day sport is an industry in the current industrialized society.
The base motive of any industry is to gain profits. The base motive of the people in any industry is to gain profits by any means possible. All industries in the industrialized society are in a horse race. And due to this reason, not only is the modern day sport industry wavering in its eclat but it also made sports as a controversial activity.

Yes I totally agree with the point that the modern day sport in an industrialized society is itself becoming an industry. Due to modernization and social media, sports have lost its sheen. Sports were once played with dedication, competitive spirit and zeal but things are not the same now.
The format has negatively evolved over the years. Top teams are in a battle to buy top players by spending huge amount of money and with more and more celebrities pumping in the industry, Huge amount of cash inflows are pouring in for advertisement and brand endorsements which is destroying the essence of cricket.

Yes, I completely agree with this statement. The rules are being changed to make the game interesting for the spectators, compromising even with some of the strengths of the game. New formats are being introduced and again that is to entertain the public.
Not only this, even the behaviour of the players on the ground is changing to gain popularity and sledging is quite a common thing to see now-a-days. The respect for performance of good team is rare to be seen nowadays.
Even in IPL we see very few youngsters are given a chance to play and the prime aim of the team is to collect money from the game as much as possible.

Hi everyone!
Modern day sport in industrialized society is an industry. Industrialization is a raging fire and sports is not immune to it. When compared to the past years, we now have more sponsors for a variety of sports around us. Industrialists have realized the potential of the Indian Sports and its reach. Hence they consider it a positive and beneficial investment. As the old saying goes, every coin has two sides, so do we have the pros and cons of this industrialization. If we be optimistic then, we can see that the pros outnumber the cons. Many sports, which were not even known to the Indian audience, have now brought to limelight because of industrialization and of course the good players.
Because of this industrialization, more people are exposed to various games and they too are interested to take part in it. Hence sports becoming an industry is good for itself as long as the players give priority to excel their game rather than choosing which brand they should endorse.
Thanks you all.

Hi to everybody. I aggreed this point.
Our Indian sports have been modernization. For the past of years in our cricket team there are no more team players. And also in our old cricket team had a good players. But not like a cricket other sports alse have like this modernization. Today sponsership also increased in our cricket field. So many of players preferred to money to play in a team. Lot of sponsers has been changed sports mens mind by giving the more sponsership. And there is no more sponsership gave in a past of years. Oly sponsers preferred to give a top players oly. And they are also preferred to give well players not to give a other players. In this via what we known is only the advertisement and sponsers are emerging. So no more player not able to come. But now many of the players to come for a earn a money in the field of modernization sports. In the world Indian priemier league only gave large amount of prices, cash when comparing other countries. So that other country team players also attracted by Indian sports and coming to join a ipl. For this some kind of players can't able to participate in a sports. They feel target of this what mean to earn a good money. So never chances to make well player in a Indian team sports.

Yes, I too agree that modern-day sport is now an industry where players are the assets on which sponsors invest money. Like every issue we have some advantages and disadvantages here we have more advantages like sports has given the opportunity to earn money by simultaneously following passion new sports and players are emerging like we saw in pro kabaddi. Now when we look into the disadvantages game is losing its integrity and sportsman spirit we have seen many players choosing clubs more than their country rules are being changed to make the sport more entertaining players especially c4icket players are trapped by the bookies which literally destroys the integrity of the game.
Now modern-day kids are choosing games according to the popularity instead of their instinct in order to earn money.

Nowadays, sports are played very spiritually, with full of integrity and passion. Sportsmen have full of patience and the facility is also beatifically to the players. Government also lunch so many opportunities for the building of new talents just following as an industry goal. Solidarity is the best published for the modern day sports.
Government should lunch special package for the sportsmen. Sportsmen have the spirit to win-win.
The organizer should create their total format for sport in industrialized society specially like an industry.

Yes, I do agree with people saying the industrialized mode of few games especially cricket has dragged many franchisers and even players into match-fixing. But it is not the mistake of a sport getting industrialized but it is the mistake of the people involved in such kind of activities. This mode of cricket which paved the way to the formation of the Indian premier League has opened up opportunities for less accessible and most talented players and even brought more economic benefits to the hosts.
And I do agree to the point that this mode of industrialization of a sport should move onto other sports as well which will result in surging up of untapped potential of India.
Thank you.

Even actors are also indulging in cricket games, like one of my contender said "the actors who are in cricket business are buying cricketers according to their scores". Technically we say it as "auction". This shows that the game is modernised. Many cricketers, out of their greed, are indulging in match fixing scandals, which are regarded as illegal in India.
In my opinion, I should say that all other games like volley ball, hand ball, hockey should be given equal importance like cricket is getting, now-a-days.

Yes, I also agree because various industrial department like JSW is connected to a sport like cricket and football due to this the popularity of the JSW is grown and has become more famous due to which people are active in the industry and various people want to get a job a popular company or industry so. Hence the production of the industry is increasing because more people are connected to it. For example, IPL which is acts as a more profitable business because TATA IPL is the most profitable nowadays.
Thank you
Thank you
