Hello Everyone,

It requires no discussion to say that MBA is the best thing that can bring life changing career.

One needs to consider the demand that is given to the MBA holders through placements.

It is really breathtaking.

A succesfull company owner will not hier low talent for great amount, that indeed can say the demand it has.

We should also consider the resources we need in our country.

A fast growing country like India not only requires a good engineer but also a good administration.

A talent not used the best is wasted.

So,

I say MBA is not overrated because of the illusions of the aspirants but because of the high demand in need of the right administration and management.

The MBA is a great tool to round out your academic background. It can lift you up from the narrow view of your discipline, whether it is engineering/science, sales, HR or accounting, and give you a better overall view of the business world. A good MBA program can do two things. First, it can expose you to courses and skills that are outside your current core functions. While you may never actually use all of those skills, they will provide you with an understanding of what people actually do throughout your organization. If you are an engineer, for example, you might appreciate marketing more. If you are in HR, you will have a better understanding of what supply chain issues are in today's business world. This broadening of your background will, just by itself, help you do your job better.

According to me, MBA is a good professional degree but not compulsory. Why it necessary is because anyone from any education background like since art commerce can opt it as his post-graduation. Why it not necessary is most of the big businessmen are not even graduated and still they are entertaining the excellence in the industry. Apart from good or bad come to the conclusion MBA is a professional degree which enables a particular student to know about the all department of an organization that he or she can able to perform his desired job. Thank you.

Over rated in India by this term we understand that more and more Indians are aspiring Or giving value to MBA than it is actually worth for. To some extent it is true now, as most of the students are now pursuing it as a means to get into lucrative job rather then thinking how he or she can upgrade her skills through MBA and contribute to generate value. There is also another myth prevailing about top 20 B school is that if a student is from there that means it guaranteed high value creation, we have seen so many successful people not a MBA yet generate higher value than students from top tier school. To keep it short follow your passion not a degree to be successful and that's how you can live your dream job.

No doubt MBA is over rated in India. But it seems that MBA has very vast scope in our country. Because various business developing day by day and due to that the demand for MBA is increasing. According to economics - INCREASE IN DEMAND:INCREASE THE PRICE OF COMMODITY.

Yes, In India many things are Overrated, but those things have demand in a market that is why it is overrated MBA is not a waste of time but is beneficial for all us whether it is from Science, Commerce, Arts or Hotel Industry. It is up to the people how they can do and many thing is that if you are doing MBA you have learn something from it and apply in real life whether it is corporate life. I have seen many people after 4 years of exp they are going for full time MBA, many people will say their opinion but at the end, in my opinion, neither leaning can be waste or degree can be waste.

Hello Friends,

MBA is no doubt highly overrated in the whole globe due to its value, everybody know that the scope of MBA is increasing by leaps and bounds. If we focus for a while on the newspapers, every company and every bank or every other organization prefer MBA because MBA holders can solve every type of complex problems at the time, they are good decision makers and they can work under pressure. MBA Degree is more preferred over Engineering Degree now-a-days.

Yes I really think that MBA's are overrated in India as in today's scenario we can see that field of MBA is attracting most of the youth irrespective of their capabilities to perform like an MBA. This may be due to the reason that this course offers opportunities to meet different people and secondly most important that it offers high packages. We see MBA's not only from commerce background but from science, arts too.

They don't know the real role of MBA. India being a developing economy, with huge market potential and career opportunities booming, there is definitely high demand for MBA graduates, but MBA is not for everybody. Moreover adding to it if someone wants to do job in Indian economy, he should prefer MBA from top 20 institutes in India or from Abroad as most of the business tycoons like Anil Ambani, Rattan Tata, and our prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, all got their studies from abroad.

These private small Indian institutes are all money minded. They don't try to polish your abilities, your talents, moreover they don't have any good infrastructure. All they want is to fill their pockets and run their institutes. In my opinion we need both management education and also the practical things for business, because we get the knowledge from both as these need for great success in business. At the end note, I want to say that a person should know that MBA means Master of Business Administration and should work accordingly.

My dear friends, don't argue. Studying is in your hands and experience too is in your hands. Achieve. While studying you are already having experience, if you are studying not. I think you understand, what I want to say. Take your life seriously. Your life is in your hand, make it or break it. Doesnot matter from where and which school you are studying, what really makes difference is you. Believe in self. You can do anything you want to.

For MBA I will say. It is now dream of everyone to do mba. Since mba gives you something but not my dear, not everything. It is not the problem of ourselves but of the environment around us, we are all fed of what is happening in our place. My country India. The peoples do mba and want to go foreign countries to earn money. No one is ever thinking of our country. If all are going work to the upliftment of our country, evrything will be solved within 20 years. We are still struggling,

Do you know the country next to us, china is increasing globally and economically. Do you know the reason, technically also they are strong, have highest population. Highest and biggest infrastructures build there.

They are growing but we are not.

If you can find answer for this, you will find an answer for yourself too.

Yes, MBA is highly overrated in India.

The reason is money minded students.

We can take the example of IIT students. After completing their graduation from a prestigious institute of our country, instead of making a contribution to the country through there technical skills and knowledge, they opt to go for MBA to earn more money.

Another reason might be the increase in no of graduate students every year. There is less job opportunity and they decide to go for MBA to seek a good job.
