I agree with the points rose by you but instead of blaming the sleeping dogs we could also try and understand their point of view. It is also possible that for them we be the sleeping dogs. So we should maintain gap with them but this gap could be bridged with cooperation and sharp mind.

I agree with Mr Karen that we must not disturb an inactive problem creator, who will unnecessarily consume our precious time. However it is much easy to eliminate a problem creator while he is inactive. Once you solve this puzzle you will need not to worry about him anymore. Otherwise he will keep on bothering us and one day he may bite us as well. If you are sure you can over can that problem creator, then I suggest you to go ahead and execute and if you are are not capable of doing that, then friends let the sleeping dog lie.

Sleeping dogs are people who cause trouble but inactive at the moment..
I support the statement because if we provoke the sleeping dog we are bound to fall in trouble that we have self invited.. So its always better to leave the trouble makers to themselves, completely unaware of your presence so that you don't have to waste your time in dealing with them uselessly..
