Actually, yes. T20 cricket has changed the definition of technical cricket. Earlier days cricket was known for its technique but nowadays it is known for power skills and unorthodox skills. I agree that innovation is important but not by killing the techniques. Real cricket can be enjoyed only in ODI and test cricket which is becoming rare now. T20 also destroying the talented and skilled players.

I guess not. T20 cricket is another step in the evolution of cricket. Now we have a format which we can watch in a few hours. Do not have to sit all days. T20 is not much technical as compared to Test or even ODI. But the fitness level needs to be high while playing T20.
The test will always be there because Test is the most beautiful across the formats. As a cricketer, we love watching and playing a Test match. If the test is there, the real cricketing skills will always be there.

According to me,
A T20 match is a better option for those players who are energetic and want to fast match. T20 match is also saves time with fun in comparison of a test match. Most of the people at this time want fun with time limited in this situation t 20 matches is the best option for them. Test match is also fun for those who really want to take more time to watch a cricket match. In T20 match players have to show their talent in a short time. In this situation, they are better prepared for playing cricket.

Hi everyone, as it stands in India Cricket is taken as only entertainment. T20 is the form of cricket that provide entertainment but it cannot bring in talent for India. If we see players 10 to 15 years back we will find that they used to play county crickets but now IPL is the only place where young players play before they play for India. T20 is just a 20 over game and anything can happen in 20 overs. To play test cricket talent and skill is needed and above that patient is needed. Indian players are in a hurry even when they play test and that is the main reason that they are not able to bat even for 90 overs. If this continues Indian cricket might have to suffer a lot.

Hello Friends.
I would like to tell you about the T20 cricket mainly IPL and ICC's organized matches. That affects the players in playing Tests and Odis also as a T20 style. They are used to playing fastest cricket event and it affects in different ways.
Firstly it is decreasing the interest of Odis even the public feel bore now watching ODI's which had the greater impact earlier. That interest is slowing down i.e. They want the entertainment in ODI's like in T20 cricket. But what really matters is that Real entertainment of ODI's is loosing day by day.
And even the players are affecting their ability of tolerance, calmness as well as range of shots. And as a result losing their techniques. I must say players looses their capability and techniques and play different types of ugly shots that affects his real talent, Mostly it happens.
As we know the Real cricket is Test cricket and we can not watch it until and unless Great temperament, calmness, talent is not present. The bowlers are affected due to field restrictions as well as by shorter boundaries, it makes them feel low.
Whereas in Odis and Test a player has a time to comeback strongly and show his talent. Due to IPL even the talented players due to the guarantee of money even not try to play up to his talent and even decreasing it. So T20 cricket is really Killing Cricketing Skills.
Thank You.

Good evening everyone,
I'm Deepak Reddy. It's a great pleasure to me that we are here to discuss the topic "Is T20 affect the real cricket skill". T20 doesn't affect real cricket because nowadays people are not interested in watching test matches, rather than they watch T20 as a time of the match will be less and more enthusiastic. T20 provides an opportunity for newcomers. One more thing I would like to add telecasting of test matches in TV costs much as test matches go on for 4 to 5 days & In T20 matches there will be good glamour such as cheer girls. So I would like to conclude that T20 matches are more interesting and which doesn't affect real cricket.

In some manner, T20 is killing test cricket but in other, it is not killing as we can see the bowling strength can be improved so that batsmen cannot hit the ball for a boundary from T20 but the extra innovation can harm the quality of playing test cricket like when a player or a batsmen plays T20 then they are in the mood of hitting the ball out of the ground and the crowd loved it but will test cricket our audience says we don't have that much of time to see the whole day of a test match and the patience needed by a player in test cricket lacks so both the formats of the games have their own respect and reputation. Thank you.

With due respect to everybody's opinion I think that T20 cricket is really helping cricketers adding so much of skills and varieties. Cricketers nowadays have become more and more innovative in their shot making and in their approach which was so rare if we look in the past and secondly I believe that as a viewer we definitely need a change and in the end we as viewers need entertainment and people are loving it.
