In my view, T20 cricket has been beneficial to the growth of test cricket. Take the example of two test matches, Eng vs Aus 2019, Headingly, and Aus vs IND 2021, Brisbane. In the former Eng were on the verge of losing the match but it was Ben Stoke's innovative shots which at the end sealed the match for England which was otherwise considered a lost cause by even the English commentators.
In the second case, India was in the midst of injuries, it lacked its most important players like Virat Kohli, Ishant Sharma, Mohammad Shami, Jasprit Bumrah and the list goes on. But look what the youngsters who hailed from the IPL did. Washington Sundar and Shardul Thakur not only played a blinder in the 1st innings to keep India alive in the game, but it was also the fearless batting of Rishab Pant which made India breach the so-called fortress of Australian cricket, the Gabba. Not only did India win the match at a ground on which Aussies hadn't lost a test in 32 years, but they also won the hearts and minds of cricket fans all around the world. This match was regarded as a savior of test cricket, which incidentally involved players who were called "T-20 specialists".

First of all, thank-you for giving this beautiful platform to put my point on the topic of T20 cricket is killing the real cricket skill.
So, In my opinion, that is not truly right in fact T20 cricket can give better players for the team in a short time like in IPL matches players are selected on the basis of their T20 performance. In T20 cricket.
In cricket, we need some energetic players who can't perform well in the match short period of time. Although audiences are enjoying a lot on their boundaries. The audience can also enjoy in a short time to watch T20 they haven't a seat for a whole day to watch Test cricket matches but mostly people enjoy test matches because they have to see the most skilled players who can play long periods of time and can face all the bowlers easily and played well.

Hello friends I'm Aditya Sharma I think it might kill the real cricketing skills of the players. Because the game is played only for 20 overs and every single player which comes across have to bat instantaneously at every single ball because of this they try to play so fast that they doesn't even know how to deal with the ball coming across him and that's the reason wickets go in an immediate process.
The game should be handled with patience and because every player is at its best so he should be in his senses to deal with every single ball sagely.

I think T-20 is promoting the cricket and so many youngsters got the chance to play in national level with senior players and also able to improve their skills. In return they get huge amount of money also which is a good thing. Because of T-20 Indian economy is also increasing day by day. India has become the hub for cricket because of IPL and T-20 matches due to which India is gaining its popularity day by day and so many businessman and officials wants to spend more.

I think T-20 provides a good platform to new comers to arise. It gives good chance to players to play with experienced senior players and to learn a lot of things as well as at the same time to earn fame and money which is a good thing. Balance between T-20 and test match is required as test matches judges the physical strength while T-20 judges mental skills of players.

Since in T20 things change very quickly, it forces players to not to become complacent in good situations which is the most important skill in cricket. Also, it requires high agility and fitness and so many young players are improving their fitness. Virat, De Villiers, Dhoni have some extraordinary skills.
But the sad part is, it is a bit in the favour of batsmen so bowlers are now trying to be economical than attacking. But mature bowlers are developing new skills to tackle both problems examples are Malinga, Steyn, Broad.

T20 is one format of the cricket. It has nothing to do with killing cricketing skills. Every cricketer is good any of the format or all of them. Some cricketers adapt good for test cricket and so for ODI and t20. You can see some new invention of cricketing shots in this era. So this short format has made cricket more popular and interesting.

In my point of view, it's wrong. T20 is one format of cricket which entertains audience and it must be encouraged to develop everywhere.

I think T20cricket is useful, but at the same time, it is killing some real cricketing skills also. In ancient days, cricketers used to play days together in test format but nowadays as they inculcated to the mode of 20-20 format. So players were not having much courage and patience to stand for the wicket.
There are some other reasons which are beneficial to 20-20 cricket.
1. A Huge amount of entertainment.
2. Nowadays, no one is having to have a view of the full match. So this will be a good format for the people who want to enjoy the match for some time.

T20 is better than compared to the test match. Because at this time people don't have much time and they want full enjoyment in the match. But the test match always takes a lot of time. But in the T20 matches never takes a lot of time so people always like to watch t20 cricket.
People can see the patience in the player in the test matches.
