Is Social Media Actually Connecting People?

I firmly believe that social media is connecting people. Social Media has allowed us to connect to our loved ones, whether they are far or near. Parents can always know well well-being and safety of their children through video calls and other social media apps. We can make others feel our presence through just a message.

Social media is helping job seekers connect to recruiters. Because of the connections, recruiters can hire people from different parts of the country. Some apps allow us to help needy people which is an act of humanity. We have seen a live example during the COVID pandemic.

Social media is not only connecting members of the family but also has given us the path to reach our idols, artists, and politicians. We can see how a hashtag on Twitter can bring everybody's attention.

However, we see some negative influences of social media also but it is the user's responsibility to explore the good side of social media.

Before the invention of social media people could only remember their old friends wondering how they might look like now. But now, after its invention people could see and reconnect with those they left behind long ago. Even I remember the happiness in my parents and grandparents' eyes when I could find their old friends on social media just by knowing their names. This platform is connecting people from all across the world. Likewise, it is helping mankind by spreading awareness, by spreading information of those who are in need, and by giving a platform to those who need it for the growth of their business.

But as is said every good thing comes with a price, it also becomes bitter when is excessively used. Its excessive use is making people live in the digital world and they are becoming distant from the people they are around in the real world. It is also making people depressed by making them feel worthless. Those who are addicted to social media are now living in a world of illusion. They are unable to differentiate between fake and reality.

I think yes, Social media is actually connecting people. Because it is an only way to connect with our friends who are far away from us. And in case when you live far from your family the social media provides you to connect with them because previously your family is not able to see you how you sustain your life. But by the social media they can and you also see them.

Social media plays an important role in our lives. Nowadays we commonly use social media sites and apps like YouTube, Instagram, Linked In, and Facebook for sharing information communicating with each other, and chatting with relatives, family, and friends.

But anything access in life is poison and social media is the same as this. There are chances of cyber crimes.

Our information and data should be hacked so we should take care of data breaches.

Everything has pros and cons.

It depends on how we use it. Social media has good or bad effects. It depends on you how we use it?

I believe that social media is connecting people. Not only it connect friends and family but also customers to brands and businesses, celebrities to their followers, and entertainers to their audiences.

It helps people to keep in touch with their knowns and get knowledge about what's happening around them and to keep pace with the current day trends.

According to me, social media is the path or way of connecting people, friends also we can improve our knowledge through watching videos and so many inspire speech is the good think about social media. But so many people mostly youth are addicted of snapchat they can wastage there time in scrolling the Facebook and instagram so I think social media is good also and bad too.

Social media connects the people if one news happens we spread the social media we can share to all friends and dicuss what are solutions required how to solve these.

Hi, Nowadays social media has become an integral part of every human being irrespective of the age group.

It has given us the freedom to contribute our ideas and thoughts in an open platform wherever everyone can hear us. So it definitely helps us connect people who are far from us. Extroverts become introverts on this platform as it gives everyone an equal voice to share their thoughts.

Human being has a tendency to show what they like and social media helped them to reach to large no. Of people with whom they want to share anything, it could be pictures, poems, blogs, even thought about what they are feeling, what they are doing currently and they seek for.

But at the same time meeting people over social media has made people insensitive and about the actual physical thing. Getting addicted to social media tools becomes a boon for the word 'connecting' as you're going far far away from people who are actually close to you. You don't have time for your family because you're too busy posting updates on social media for few who know you and for total strangers.

In the end, I would like to conclude that there should be maintained some limit on the usage of social media. Get connected keeping in mind there is your family and real friends waiting for you out there to have a real conversation face to face.

Here I am discussing about social media is actually connecting. In this generation, people are mostly using social media for entertainment and also some using to earn income so, all of them are connected to each other.

For example, I am using Instagram I used to watch reels and stories daily. I followed family and friends' activities through stories and posts. I can keep in Touch with my old friends through social media Wherever I lose my phone number or change home I can me in touch with them and I can stay connected with them even if I'm in a foreign.

No doubt that social media is playing a very crucial role in getting in touch with people who have done something marvellous in this tech era, from whom we can get motivation and hence aspire to do something new and contribute to global development in a similar manner like them, but at the same time we also have to admit this harsh fact that it is the social media who are playing a sole role in bringing in depression, anxiety, dejection, self-doubt, loss of happiness so and so forth in today's youth, it is the social which is being used today to compare the lives of one with the lives of others that brings among us the so-called fearing of missing out, in this so-called social media era we the youth trying to highlight ourselves far then the reality that creates a gap between our expectation and the reality thus creating a sense of demotivation and dejection that ultimately led to the loss of happiness.
