Hi I'm Sridhar,
In my opinion, Social media does connect us with other people. The people who are miles away from us, we can still connect with them, know them and interact with them. But everything has a negative side too. Nowadays, many scams and frauds are happening through social media using fake identities.
So yeah, social media helps connect with people, but you also need to use it safely and with awareness.

Social media makes half of our lives easier. Social media drives information faster than internet. It makes people who are in need, business organisations connect with the current and better world, generates employment.

Yes, social media is connected to people because this is a 21 century and people don't have much time to personally meet the close friends or relatives. So, social media is one of the best platform to connect each other. Its also very helpful to us.

Social media has completely changed the way we connect with people.
Apps like Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp make it easy to stay in touch with friends and family, even if they live far away. We can share photos, ideas, and experiences instantly, and social media also helps people come together during emergencies or important events. It allows us to learn new things and meet people with similar interests.
At the same time, social media also has a negative side. Many people spend so much time online that they forget to enjoy real-life conversations and relationships. Sometimes online friendships are not genuine, and problems like cyberbullying and screen addiction can affect mental health.
People often post only the happiest moments of their lives, which can make others feel lonely or pressured to compare themselves.

Good morning everyone,
Today’s topic is: “Is social media actually connecting people?”.
In my opinion, social media is connecting people, but the quality of those connections depends on how we use it.
On the positive side, social media has made communication very fast and easy. People can stay connected with family and friends even if they live in different countries. Platforms like WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook help people share messages, photos, and important moments instantly. It also helps students, professionals, and businesses build networks and communities. During emergencies and natural disasters, social media spreads information quickly and helps people support each other.
However, there is also a negative side. Many online relationships are superficial. People may have hundreds of followers but still feel lonely in real life. Excessive use of social media reduces face-to-face communication and sometimes creates addiction, stress, and comparison among users. Instead of enjoying real conversations, many people spend hours scrolling on their phones.
So, I believe social media is a powerful tool. It can connect people emotionally and socially if used in a balanced and responsible way. But if people depend on it too much, it can also create distance in real-life relationships.
In conclusion, social media is connecting the world technologically, but true human connection still depends on understanding, trust, and real communication.
Thank you.

As far as connecting is concerned, I feel social media is connecting people very well.
It has now changed the mode of communication between people. People find it very easy to be connected for certain purposes. Connecting through social media has shaped the thinking from the connectors.
Today people know each other not because they are into social media but are equally informative or share the same vibe. This has also caused some problems which can be overtaken by spreading awareness about this.

No, Social media is not connecting people. It distances people from each other.
Even though social media like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter enable us to connect with people from all around the world, it doesn't ensure trust. It never equals the person we meet in person and get to know. My question is, "How could you trust the person virtually? What if they pretend to be good? Where is the safety while we are evolving in a world full of cybercrimes, etc".
Yes, Social media has become a major part of our lives, which makes our lives miserable without our knowledge. How could you have a real feel when you contact the people with eyes while you have a conversation in a video call? Instant messages don't give you the same feeling as handwritten letters from your loved ones.
There are many alternatives, but people still choose the instant way.
