I think yes, Social media is actually connecting people. Because it is the only way to connect with our friends who are far away from us. And in the case when you live far from your family social media provides you to connect with them because previously your family is not able to see how you sustain your life.

This is my think.

In my opinion, social media is connecting people virtually. And, in this virtual world, we lost many people.

I should say that it definitely helps people to connect when their far from each other but it makes one forget his own belongings with whom they live. It has got both pros and cons.

By using social media, we have both advantages and disadvantages. By using it in the correct way it is helpful to the needs of our life.

This social media helps us for educational purposes, it also makes our learning way easy. And also business promotions to help their improvement in business. By using social media, nowadays we can easily know the product details by watching Advertisements.

By social media, we can watch daily news very quickly. Popular news was fastly spread through this. So that we can easily know that news.

Through this, we can invite our long-distance friends to our family functions.

My point of view is yes, it connects people. Helps people to interact with each other to see what's going on others life it helps to chat with each other also their are many influencers, freelancers who uses this platform to earn money.

However it has disadvantages too. On social media it is next to impossible to show our emotions, understanding others emotions, feelings through chat/ text which can lead to fights, conflicts etc.

Also, there are many teenagers, youngsters are using social media to watch pornographic content which affects a lot to their mental health.

So to conclude this topic, social media can be useful to a certain extent also it can cause many problems which we discussed now.
