As my point of view, social media plays a crucial role in our life. It has both advantages and disadvantages that depends on the user.

The advantage of social media is:
It is mostly helpful for students to gain the knowledge and it connects the people globally which helps to transfer the information very easily and fastly.

The disadvantage of social media is:
We are using some entertainment applications like instagram and facebook which has both advantages and disadvantages.
Now a most of the people are addicted to this applications.

Yes, social media connects us to people who are far away from us but it also disconnects us from the people who are close to us because nowadays people instead of spending time with their family are wasting their time on social media or they are forming virtual relation with the unknown because of that they are ignoring the know one or we can say that they are ignoring the people who are close to them. We can it that it has advantages and disadvantages also but it totally depends user how we use social media.

My take on this is Ofcourse, social media helps in connecting with people and breaking the geographical barriers, allowing people to connect with individuals worldwide.
Encouraging in international friendships and cultural exchange.

Online communities form around shared interests, hobbies, or causes providing a sense of support.
And platforms like LinkedIn helps in connecting with the industry professionals, finding career opportunities, and knowledge sharing.

And the otherside of the Social media have issues like cyberbullying, online harassments causing emotional harm to the people.

So, yes social media does connect people, and we must acknowledge the negatives as well.

On this we can see social is connecting people offcourse it's connected the unknown people also to be friends but not at all the time there may be fake people like greedy or hackers is there to stole our data and personal detail with that they will threatening or blackmailing us for money. Just use to share some thoughts or do useful things otherwise don't share anything about your personal it may sometime treats us.

On our usage only we can find it is good or bad. So, use in good way to connect with good people or else don't need.
Nowadays, school students also using social media they don't know how to utilise useful but they were thought that is for entertainment purpose but that is not true. It's only for sharing news and learn something when we were far.

Nowadays Connectivity increases due to social media we can access people whom we met long time ago and also help us in difficult situations sometimes we met generous helpful people but majorly it's connectivity is limited to posting stories reels sharing. People aren't interested in knowing about you are real life they worried about you when you post something sad and happy about you when you post something good people have time to accessibility digital sites but doesn't want real talk this creates hypes also that this person is doing this I also want to do this. So, if we see social media is helping us in many ways from social media platforms we get free notes and resources, and sometimes we get more knowledgeable and valuable points from different sources which helps to clear our points. But if we see other side of the social media then we see that there is a lot of cyberBulling, fraud, fake identify, blackmailing, stealing the information.
